I appreciate the comment about getting to the point. Lots of other people want to see my family and 20 mins of BS before I get to my problems. But I know most people just want quick good tips. I can’t please everyone I guess. I’m glad you like it and appreciate you watching 👍🏼👍🏼

Yeah I’ve been waiting till it’s been at least a year since I’ve had it to do an update video. I replaced the one that came from GD. With it turned off my frond landing legs would still operate. So when I put a little bit more solar on my rig, I replaced that with an off switch that kills everything except my solar charger to my batterys. It has its own separate on off switch. Yes, and sometimes is best to sit down and think it over before you get your voltmeter out. Would you do a good job so if I ever have issue I’ll call you.

Hey Chris, our TT has two batteries. For long term storage should we disconnect terminals on both batteries or will one disconnected do it if they are in series. Thanks 👍🏻

Well for long term storage why not just disconnect both anyways and bring them in somewhere warm. Keeps them from slowly draining on themselves by hooking up to a trickle charger plus gives you an opportunity to clean up the terminals before the next season too. 👍🏼

Now a days I hate to say it but I’m not too sure it makes a difference unless you are going into the custom hauler price point. Even companies that had a better reputation like Grand Design and Alliance seem to be having problems. Biggest problems now are days is frame flex with these toy haulers from any company. Seems to be issues from Lippert on these frames on the bigger rigs. Brinkley is my new favorite RV company from what I’ve seen…only problem is they are so new the jury is still out. I stay away from Forrest River, Keystone, Jayco just because of a bad rep and customer service. For the most part Grand Design at least stands by their product and has good customer service even if the build quality isn’t what it was 6-7 years ago.

I pulled my battery due to putting in storage for the winter. Should I keep my battery tender on my battery 24/7 or charge to full and remove, then recharge at a specific interval and repeat cycle? Thank you

Good job. I would just put it on one of those slow little trickle chargers and keep it on it 24/7 if you can. But I suppose either way really wouldn’t hurt either if you remember to hook up every so often. Appreciate you watching 👍🏼 Oh and if it’s a regular lead acid battery it may still required distilled water too so don’t forget to check that.

@@WhyWait thanks so much. I appreciate your content so very much. It is a lead acid battery (for now lol) and luckily saw I need to check and add more distilled water as needed. Thanks for sharing that nugget of info too 😁. The charger I use is the Battery Tender 12v 1.25 AMP Automatic Charger and Maintainer. Do you think that is ok to leave on 24/7? Thank you

@@cherylcase252 yup that will be fine. It has a float/ maintenance mode that keeps from over charging the battery. Just hook it up and it does the rest, nothing to worry about. 😁👍🏼
