Remember that goodbye when you are leaving vs when they are leaving are two slightly different words, but one means the other person is leaving, so the difference is noticable. 안녕히가세요 is goodbye to them leaving 안녕히계세요 is goodbye, i am leaving 👍

안녕히 가세요 is also used when both are leaving or going separated ways.

@@dazh686 yeah the 가 means go, so yes it includes when you are leaving as well but not when ONLY you are leaving

Hello! I'm a beginner and I have this doubt... Does the Korean language have only 3 tenses that is the past, present and future tense or does it also have past progressive, present progressive, future progressive etc.. like in english?
@blub8924
2 жыл бұрын
Korean does have past present and future tense Ex: 가다 means 'to go' Present: 가고 있어요 I am going Past: 갔어요 I went Future: 갈게요 I will go Hope this helps

I don’t know about past progressive and future progressive but i know that there’s def a present progressive! you add -고 있다 to the verb stem. so, using the example from above ^ 가고 있다 (non-conjugated form)/가고 있어요 (conjugated) would be translated as “going.” 먹다 turns into 먹고 있어요= eating and so on p.s. the regular present tense for 가다 would simply be 가요, most people opt for this version hope this helped!

@@blub8924 There is one more way. Conjugating the verb and adding -는 있어(요).

For clarification anyeong hee ga se yo wpuld be used when someone else is leaving and youre saying good bye to them. But if you were the one leaving, youd say "annyeong hee ghey se yo" ghey is pronounced like "kay"

Hello teacher
Tbh this looks really hard I kinda wish I could press a botton and already understand Koop and Korean shows
The last one is a tongue twister indeed...😅
Quick question for any korean speakers if you can help me, so if im at a korean restaurant and theyre working hard and bring out my food, can i say "gamsahamnida, su go ha syeo sseeum ni da" or would i not need to add gamsahamnida
@zzimman5219
Ай бұрын
you should not add "su go ha syeot ssum ni da" just say gamsahamnida. Because when you say "su go ha syeot ssum ni da", someone has "completely done" the work for you.
