i’m mexican and i also find ways to connect my native tongue to korean. for example 빨대 (ppaldae) -> popote (straw) 숟가락 (sudgalag) -> cuchara (spoon) 빵 (bbang) -> pan (bread) i love learning this way because it helps me memorize and think in my native tongue and that way my vocabulary expands in both languages

Girl you are so organised!! Thank you for this video 🙏 so many great and useful tips
This really helped me I am actually learning Korean from recently to understand run bts and bang tan bombs of just bts songs (I am an army 😆) and I do review the words I write and I try to pronounce and write and understand the words meaning and it was so hard at first but then with teh help of videos (especially your videos ) I can speak a few words in Korean but just a basic conversation not really a expert tysm for making this video it really helped me learn Korean
These are all timeless tips for learning Korean vocabulary! Thank you! Exactly what I have been looking for! :)

Keep experimenting with different methods and you’ll find ways that work for you :) thank you for giving me new motivation to study korean - I’ve felt stuck for some time now, but your tips seem very helpful and the notion template will make it so fun to study!! 고마워요 💜
this was so helpful! especially the method of visualizing images of the words instead of the word itself:') definitely going to be trying that one, amazing vid as usual
I remember 약석 which means promise because of Jimins song Promise which I LOVEEE
I usually enjoy watching this channel, but it's fun and above all, it helps me study English. I wanna say thanks! XD
I've been keeping to a sloppy study routine. And sloppiness is NOT my working style! So I've made time to research and so far your channel has been the ONLY one to give a push to explore and grasp on to the fact that I can learn with many types of ways other than the boring pencil and paper routine I stick to. Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for this video!! I’ve been learning korean for years but the vocab is the hardest thing for me to learn and remember so I’m quite limited when it comes to what I can talk about in korean - you have many helpful tips in this video and now motivated to learn new vocab!! Thank you 🥰
Thank you for making this video! It was very helpful. I have been self-studying Korean for a little over a year now, and while I'm at the level where I can understand the main concepts of grammar, I'm stuck on just building up my vocabulary. I will definitely check out notion and try the tips you gave! Also, one tip that was helpful for me was just to speak! Any words you knew, throughout your day. Similar to what you said, like if you go to pick up an apple, you say aloud, "사과" and just little things like that. When you think about how little children learn their first language, they learn just by listening and most importantly, just speaking, even if it might not be correct. The important part is trying, and just doing. And little children learn how to speak their first language in a relatively short time, compared with when you try to learn a second language! That's what I've been trying to do now, practicing my speaking even just to myself.
i really love your voice,it’s so beautiful and make’s me feel so comfortable and calm !

These are awesome tips! I started learning Korean about 3 weeks ago and it's quite fascinating that two people can come up with similar learning strategies, while watching this video it felt like so similar to my thought process when I learn new languages. And one more tip I think is important is to actually write the language using a pen and paper vs just on phone keyboard too

It's impressive how you made connections between words, but I always like to learn words while watching a Korean video. That way I can memorize them really quickly. If not I won't remember the word until I see it somewhere else (in a video). (I'm a person who doesn't like to force myself to learn vocab)
Wow this is so helpful! Thanks

@@allthingsann Sadly not! I have a weird skeleto-muscular condition that makes my arm, neck and shoulder cramp and spasm after a few minutes and if I keep going ends up with migraine and/or vertigo. Tried since age 13 (62 now!) and was a graphic artist and designer and loved calligraphy but have had to accept I must not do it any more. But I love seeing other people able to make beautiful things and do things beautifully. 💖
I love this video 🧡✨
that tip where you relate it to the object instead of the word is huge. i find myself when translating to think of the word in english which then translates to my brain to understand it first... which takes a lot of brain power i feel. or memory whichever.
Helpful tips ❤️✨️
Such a good collection of notes.....😍
Whoaa Thanks for This😊
