    Taking the pedals off is Unnecessary more work than it's worth - Just follow the pedal linkage and remove the quick pin Now you can remove the main fender body - I learned that from Retirement with Pete on youtube he has good tips cleaning the covered area is a very good idea and checking the fuel line

    Just so you know, I usually have multiple questions or comments on videos, so I tend to separate them out for two reasons. First, so they all get answered because I’ve found if I include them all in one comment some never get seen or answered, and also because it makes it easier for a creator to respond without forgetting what was asked.

    my GX, needed a new battery, then an idler on the power belt started screaming so I changed both of those because the spring is a bear to play with, then the main belt gave up about 10 minutes later so since I had taken the foot rests and seat pan off for the third time I checked the fan and pulley and then did a hyd.oil filter change.

    Could a chunk sound while mowing mean that the pully teeth are missing the mark or worn out?

  • @baldeagle242

    @baldeagle242

    23 күн бұрын

    Generally once it gives out it will completely strip out and the mower won’t move at all. A clunk sound could be many things. It’s tuff to know for sure without further investigation. 🤷🏻‍♂️

    I have a gt245. The transmission bottle reservoir is between the lines indicating it is full. The other chamber that you suggested to not open is not full but 3/4. Should that be topped off despite reservoir full?

    You may have a clog in the reservoir.

    That fan had multiple holes, at least one of which would probably line up with the single hole in the trans pulley. I’d probably insert a large Phillips through those to at least get a little more torque on the nut since I don’t have an impact yet. Being careful, of course, not to overdo it with that plastic fan. 😉🔧👍 Was the washer a Belleville or compression type?

    Im having an issue with a Encore Caliber zero turn mower. When I go to release the parking brake the engine dies. I’ve installed a new parking break switch an bypassed the seat switch too see if it will keep going after releasing the parking break. No charge it still dies. Could this be a Fuse or Kill Relay issue? I have not tried using a multimeter yet.

  • @baldeagle242

    @baldeagle242

    We have another video that shows a straightforward way to check safety switches. kzread.info/dash/bejne/loh2rMtrcrLShso.html This process will work on any small engine equipment. We only like changing switches once we narrow it down to the actual switch. To answer your question about fuses or relays... Most safety switch circuits work by grounding the coil to kill the engine and have zero voltage running through them, so they do not utilize fuses or relays in the safety circuit. You may also have a damaged wire or connection grounded out somewhere. This is not clearly demonstrated in the above video, but it is something to look for in addition to the switches themself.
