I'm fancying this for tea tonight. I live close to Teesside and chicken parmo is the staple takeaway. Deep fried chicken bechamel sauce smothered in cheddar cheese. For 30 years I've being telling people it's not a blooming parmesan! At last I feel vindicated by your video Adam. 👍

Lisa, you are an angel you know that!? Thank you. With regards to the cookware I bought them from wilko which if you live in the UK, you will know about lol. If not, well the thing to look for in cookware especially frying pans and pots is that you want to get the best you can afford. that doesn't mean you need to spend £££, but get decent stuff, because it will last. I tend to stay away from stainless steel pans because for the home cook, they require too many variables to cook with, and by that I mean if the pan isn't hot enough, everything bloody sticks! (watch my fried egg 3 ways video and you will see). For the home cook you can't go wrong with graniteware, ceramic, good non stick, copperware also. What i look for in a frying pan is that it is oven proof, has a good solid handle, and has a thick solid base. Hope that helps x

Hey Adam, I checked out Wilko's. It's like our Target or Walmart here in the U.S. There is one in Bedminster! Near Bath? (I lived in Bath, Maine, so I chose Bath, England to look up Wilko's) 😄 Well, I live in NE Florida, U.S.A. That's a bit too far for me to go shopping.😊 Nonetheless, I do have stainless and cast iron. I like cooking in the cast iron as they are durable, and for me, they are easy to maintain. I use them for sauteing, frying, searing, baking, outdoor grilling or open fire-pit. They just weigh a lot and are hard for me to handle because of that. Stainless works fairly well for me, but I have to use steel wool to make them look nice after use. Rather a pain to do that every time or every other time I use them. I honestly hate anodized Al cookware. Gave a whole set of regular Calphalon away. Poor soul that got it has to be cursing me. Everything on the planet, including WATER, stuck to that stuff! Alas, I will go by your recommendations for the granite ware and copper ware, and give those a try. I am so glad I’ve found your channel Adam. You are so funny, which makes it interesting, you have a real passion for food, which shows through and your recipes are simple but completely delicious. I’ve always meant to make ‘chicken palm of Shaun’ ( it will be forever called this now) but never have. You have persuaded me it’s a complete necessity and I can’t wait. I’ve got my soft tomatoes in the freezer to make tomato sauce ( I hate waste and don’t waste a thing) and chicken breasts in the fridge with mozzie and parmie. It’s on next weeks menu now. Just in case no one has said it.......thank you for working in retail and putting yourself on the front line during our pandemic. I really appreciate it, as do many. I make this quite often and as there is only me and the hubby (why do supermarkets sell chicken breasts in 3s?) he gets to take a chicken Parma sandwich in for lunch the next day and yes his workmates always comment on it!

Hi Adam. Glad the heat isn't getting to you so much at the moment. I prefer Autumn, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness and all that. I hate having to wear a face mask in shops and on public transport and I'm not at all sure what real good it is going to do. For now however I'm prepared to go along with it, for the sake of everyone else that is enduring the same thing. My goodwill and compliance will run out sooner rather than later, let's say the next two or three months or so, if the diktat remains in place. Employees in the retail sector are not to blame for any of this and it's unfair if anyone is attempting to take out their frustrations on you. Chin up fellow. Red wine from a hi-ball glass though...

Made these last night for me and the missus, very, very nice mate. We had them with those thinly sliced, lightly battered potato slices from Tesco that are in the veg aisle. I have to say buddy it was quite a substantial meal, we had one whole chicken breast each, and half a punnet of the spuds between the two of us, and we both didn’t finish it...I suppose it depends on the size of ya breasts.🙄😂But it was delish and will make it again I’m sure.😋

Thank bloody Christ you did not cut up the spaghetti like some kind of flipping heathen. To us Italians cutting up spaghetti is a sacrilege.

I use Kraft Parmesan, in smallish container with green lid very very tasty, have tried block Parmesan and to my pallet is too bland has no bite, and ive used made in italy parma still no good, but each to their own, awesome recipes Cheer's from Australia 🦘 🦘 🦘 🦘, again

Never understood the point of Mozzarella! Zero taste!

Get buffalo mozzarella. Has a much more pronounced taste. It's not meant to have a strong flavour though as it's a delicate cheese

I'm autistic so I'm medically exempt from wearing a mask but all through the pandemic I wore a mask as I find people who don't Extremely selfish unless they have a good enough medical or psychological reason not to wear a mask
