The hilarious thing is that she has to basically walk into her tumbling runs or she'll launch off the floor. Seriously- she does THAT from a walk... Can we all be terrified at what this woman could do if the floor was say, 10 feet longer in each direction?

She can do that because of her physique. She's tiny, muscular, blessed with broad shoulders and narrow hips. Easier to launch, twist, and spin when your body is so compact.

Simone has so many real and true friends on the team. Because she gave of herself and helped them when they were first there they grew to love Simone and adore her. she is a true and real friend to the other gymnasts. Did you see what she did for SuniLee's dad a couple years ago? That was so amazing and she did it for Suni to not worry an focus on her studies an gymnastics.

Breath...taking. Watching Simone actually takes your breath away. That second jump was almost as high as the videographer. They had to pull back the camera. Wow!

She is breathtaking. Literally. She takes my breath away. What a gem. Remember when she was first seen? And harridans were filling sosh media with criticisms of her…wait for it….hair? I do. She is the poster for Angelou’s line “And still I rise.” Not to mention she has the most beautiful legs in any sport. Keep making us proud, Ms. Biles.

She has so much power with her tumbles its difficult to control so she doesnt go out of bounds but she needs that power so sometimes she is going to go out of bounds. It is that power that she uses to hack the gymnastics algorithim. Some gymnast are gracefu. Simone Biles is powerful.

She does moves that don’t seem humanly possible and looks calm doing them. She’s a superstar

I love watching this woman, she's amazing. And I especially love that her routines aren't just about the jumps and flips, there's a good scoop of creativity included as well.

There is just something different about watching an athlete that was built for exactly what they are doing. She was made for gymnastics. Jordan is basketball, Phelps is swimming, Biles is gymnastics. When you see people like that you can feel that it's different, it's more than they make it look easy.

I LOVE gymnastics. but that's the first time I'm crying while looking at gym, and it's only on a screen... I have never seen this QUALITY of movement in any gymnast on the floor, male or female. When she is in the air, we can't see any effort. While looking it's a beautiful wonderful suspension, even softer than when I take my cup of tea.

Yeah, she looked a little messy. She stepped out of bounds, looked like she lost control in between passes. Phenomenal height and power, as always, but she needs a bit more precision to avoid her score dropping.

I hope Simone makes the Olympic team when it’s announced later today. 😂🤣 I think she is the only gymnast male or female that is 100% on the US team. Thank you Simone for being transparent about how important mental health is to ALL of us. 🥇
