This style of comedy has been marginalised over the past few years. It's great to see it here.

He's right about the filming, how stupid is it, recording a concert on a 3inch screen or fireworks that's my pet hate, film it on your phone and never watch it because it just doesn't compare, meanwhile they miss out on the real thing because they're too busy trying to hold there phone on the right spot, brainless.

I used to watch Japanese tourists wandering around Bath with cameras stuck to their faces in the 1980s and wonder what the hell they were getting from the experience, apart from a red ring around one eye. It's a sad reflection on society that forty years later things have just got worse.

When we were kids we loved adventure films, but we knew sooner or later the hero would be held back by a female in ill fitting clothes, when she did appear, usually about fifteen minutes in, We at the age of five, would moan and groan,, switch off the telly, and go out side to play on our Rally Grifters.

He was born in Leeds. His being Irish was sheer wish fulfilment on his part. If the Irish were happy to grant him their nationality at his wish, I have no problem at all. Most folk born in Yorkshire are more than happy with their good fortune, but if O’Toole wasn’t, good luck to him. It certainly did him no harm.
