Simcity 4's creators were genius when using the region tool. If you asked a Simcity 4 player if they could create a 1:1 map of the greater Toronto area, they'd call you mad. It's been done on Simcity and even larger maps are possible. Even back in 2004 you could create maps tens of times larger than that of modern city builders. Excellent work haljackey, I'd love to see how far the project goes.

The best city builder would be a full 3D version of Simcity 4. Cities Skylines is definitely superior to Simcity 4 just by being fully 3D. But City Skylines is made for building European cities. If you want that American vibe you need a ton of mods to make your city have that American/Canadian vibe. The best part of Simcity 4 was the Region play. If you wanted to recreate a map of New York City and all of Long Island, you could. There were no defined size limitations to SimCity 4's map sizes.

The 3D Camera Mod does help in some sense- but yes still not true 3D.

Great Work...the amount of time you have put into this and detail is fantastic.

Always love seeing the crazy highways you build, would love to see another building a city from scratch type series from you again someday

Great drive, love to see Oakridges back and your recent highway junction. Wonder or you did something on the end with the quarky neighbourhood connection ! Everything looks absolute fabelous, lttle maybe relay of pieces might resolve two issues I found. At 11.49m I see a triple lane transition where there´s a perculiar left over. At 19.27 at the start of the tile another triple lane S curve transiton with a left over piece. Hope you can fix it !

@@ekoprasetyo7789 Vannila SC4 without mods is a rather relic, very challenging but also it's bugs and ammoyances. Indeed there some grow mod around to boost the game still build in limitations restrict some. SC4 with mods feel like a new game, special y the greatest mod the NetworkAddonMod !you see extensively in this video !
