I really wish Cities: Skylines had regions like you had in SimCity 4. I’ve had to instead pretend that the cities are all connected to each other using my imagination and freeway signs in Procedural Objects.

@TrickyMario7654 Yeah. It took Colossal Order 8 years to finish Cities: Skylines 1 w/all the DLC expansion packs, content creator packs & radio stations. God knows it'll probably take them the same time if not longer for them to finish Cities: Skylines 2 & who knows what DLC they'll have planned for it.

In SC4 with mods and terrain makers, I can generated a huge region map, draw a huge mountain with long ranges in the middle of the map, gazette them as national park and eco tourism, with Aspen in snowy hills, and still have plenty of space for conventional city. I don't think CS is known for nature features play yet.

Excellent video and can be an excellent guide for a first approach toward building modular and custom ports. I now recommend that you install Heretic Seaport to take port building to the next level

Excellent! I almost died laughing when that one building repeated so. many. times. Haha... for how much of this city is water (being that it is a port and all) it developed into a nice population center in its own right. Well done Haljackey.

Great, seaport very nice logistcs ! Workable, the simulation basics only use one or two quais. I know you´re not so into specialities, so this might be as far, a custom airport north of the bay still a halt too far for now, little specialy but as you say youráre a grower and anything plopable influence the performance wich is paramount. A completly set up custom region takes so much time, everything so time consuming so much else to do !

The Ring of Fire is something like 22x30 large tiles or something like that, 660 tiles total to open. It allows me to expand any way I want to. community.simtropolis.com/forums/topic/761527-comparison-of-map-sizes-of-citybuilding-games/

Yes my plugins folder keeps growing. It's maybe 7GB now? I did a couple datpacks (see that video) to try and compress it a bit but I am used to the wait to load huge cities anyway- so a large plugin pack doesn't really add much to that time.
