Well, the approached the studio making the show and asked if the could make an opening because they were huge fans of the manga so yes, they did in fact read the manga

@@yahyarisqi7879 for me, I listend to metal first then watched anime, first ever band was Testament then my favorite band is Slipknot, and my first anime was OG Fullmetal Alchemist then my two favorites are One Piece and Bleach

The full version song was released on the day when the episode where the rumbling began was aired and that made me even more hyped.

Red Swan is amazing, it's different from the others but that's the point. I love it.

For the most part songs that are used for anime openings get music video's fairly often but they aren't normally this tied to the anime that they are in some of the bigger one's like Go!! (Fighting Dreamers) even get version where the voice actors sing the song as the characters

that's one of the things i love about anime most if not every anime opening and ending is a full song that you can listen to if you look it up i love the effort they put into these shows helping make each show at least a little more unique

Red Swan is definitely my favourite OP. It's like all about their childhoods and how they were stolen. They didn't get to have the lives they would have without war. I also really love My War and anything done by Shinsei Kammattechan. I think they are the perfect sound for Attack on Titan. I still do really love all that Linked Horizon did. But I think that their songs are more suited to the simple story of season one rather than anything later on in the story.

SiM known about SiM thanks to yakuza kiwami 2. They did the ending credits song for that game Go check out "The Sound Of Breath" by SiM its so good they are japanese band. They are from Shōnan,which is in Kanagawa prefecture which part of the Kanto region. They've done quite few singles out but only the rumbling has made huge splash in USA getting on US rock chart at #13.

FYI I don't know who told yall that anime intros don't get live action MVs, because pretty much every single one I know does. The musicians involved treat it the same as any other hit song they make, anime or not. Sometimes the MV is based on the anime.

sim is an awesome band another really good song of theirs is "devil in your heart".

SiM, the only band that have done intro for two 'shingeki no' series. Bahamut and Titan. Both are made by MAPPA too XD
