This is the first time I've seen a content creator explain the mechanics of how to brake consistently and efficiently. I've never seen someone describe the physicality of using the brake pedal and how to avoid injury, quite like this. More sim racers need to see this video.

Hey mate, 45 degrees and 60 degree angles aren’t making sense to me. If you want your legs less bent wouldn’t you want an angle (as shown in the video)like 135 degrees?

He is confusing 45deg with 90deg (right angle)

Yeah, the 45* value he lists while showing as the obtuse angle (greater than 90*) between the thigh and shin lines is a mistake. The actual angle between the angle indicator (arc & arrows) shown in that graphic would be 135*. That is the result of 180* - 45*. 45* makes sense only if he projects an imaginary line from the thigh forward and then shows an included angle (less than 90*) between that projection and the shin. It's a correct concept, just demonstrated incorrectly or he should have used 135* (for the 45*) or 120* (for the 60*) as the values mentioned.

You needed to do less racing and more geometry classes. Embarrassing!
