It’s amazing how the silverback relents to a mere child. Such respect shown. Even with no concept of law, they clearly understand right and wrong. Magnificent creatures. Gorillas really do try to avoid violente confrontations. It’s still shocking to know that despite their size, they are virtually completely herbivorous.

indeed he was definitely thinking about a other plan to get her interested.

The younger baby brother managed to stave off the silver back's advances to his mother, however he then started to get over confident and continued to expose his teeth and walk toward the silver back in a dominant fashion. Then the older brother came over and placed his hand on the baby brothers back as if to say "that is enough."

Mom is like "look at this fool! just destroying the whole house and still not going to get any".

Silverbacks are gentle giants, not bullies. The kid was communicating friendship and peace by tapping the Silverback's arm. The Silverback understood he was to leave the boys mother alone. There is nothing unusual about a Silverback giving himself some space and relaxing with a bunch of yummy leaves to eat. He is still their leader and protector, that's why they followed him. Where he goes, they go.
