I think you all do a brilliant job and I love the videos. For my birthday my son adopted me a Westland mountain gorilla and I call him Shabani. Mind the postman had an awful job delivering him . ❤️🇬🇧

So the thing that draw me to this channel is the to do not use AI for your subtitles, and there is a very personal touch to them. While i do appreciate seeing these majestic animals, it just breaks my heart to see them caged and not in their natural habitat. With all the technology we have now, captivity is totally unnecessary to appreciate there existence. We should do better.

I think you need to research the gorilla population in the wild…they are almost extinct due to poaching…having them in zoos…where they are loved by their keepers and well taken care of ensures our children…grandchildren and great grandchildren will be able to see them in life not just in pictures!!!

This is a translation issue. For some reason automatic translators have trouble parsing pronouns correctly from many Asian languages. I have a feeling that pronoun genders are inferred from context in Japanese and other languages, so it's easy to confuse them.

mountain gorillas are not being kept in the zoos because they are not resilient enough to survive excellent zoo conditions including nice cages and best cement floors you can get. ironically, they are the ones on the brink of extinction.

It's time for Kiyo to leave before Shabani hurts him for real
