Yourself telling his creator to stay alive at least long enough to see him shine is both really sad and really heartwarming. RIP Divide

Also i think "Ill make you say how proud you are of me" is implying that Divide is proud of making Yourself

I love how you can see his whole posture and voice change into one that resembles him about to break down in tears, but just barely holding back. When he says, "You are of me", you can hear his voice slightly crack.

Honestly its kinda scary how the voice actor for Yourself is probably ACTUALLY screaming

What does he want to do with boyfriend? - he is an alternative of him, perhaps Yourself is seeking answers or closure? How did she die? - nobody knows that yet; its a mystery. Why couldnt he cope the fact that she die? - just imagine a loved one of yours dies, especially your lover. As a human you wouldn't be able to cope with the fact that they're gone very easily.

I know all the songs are not connected lore wise, but I think the only way she could be gone forever is that she was taken by no more innocence, as seen in Fake Baby. It could be something similar and not that specific character though.

I feel like what yourself was talking about in “so stay awake, just long enough to see my way” I think he is trying to tell you (the player) that the designer of him died in his sleep. So thats why I think they implemented that. (Or just the “so stay awake” part could mean the same thing)

Girlfriend is singing with him to show how proud she is I think. But his alt version or himself doesn’t know so he does the lyrics. The lore is very deep. Also the “Stay awake just long enough to see my way” Was indeed for girlfriend because she died.

this mod is a before and after, it was the last mod by the community before the weekend update, I really like the mods from fnf they came a long way, I know everything happened, cancelations, war between members and against community game, stupid fights, but here we are, the community stills strong, newgrounds still strong, its beautiful, I'm happy.

Guys you will hear a very high pitch girl singing with him that means that’s GF a singing with him so I have a theory GF died and loss his mind or smth btw I learn this from someone’s video and GF died in a car accident but I have a problem demons don’t die from car crashes and they regenerate HP so maybe her powers got like lost and she became an actual person and she died listen to this part we hear her singing [ 2:56]

just the interenet itself. I read some reddit posts, articles, and videos relating to the mod. Most of the things I read and watched lead to the same idea for the lore of this mod, and so I put everything I learned into this video.

I listened to the song thankfully it’s on streaming services and I almost cried at work thinking about how I would feel if my girlfriend died. I’d probably be that way too honestly but I can’t say until I’m eventually in the position but I relate so much and imagining losing the love of my life like that and meeting another me I’d probably tell him to cherish his time with his loved ones and to make sure they watch him become the best version of himself. God damn typing this made me emotional. This along with the BB mod song memories are my two favorite FNF songs of all time.

yes, 100% agree! You may have never lost a loved one yet but you can indirectly know how it'll feel like when time comes, and the saying of "cherish your loved ones" will be more clearest of days to you.
