Merci infiniment. J espère à très bientôt. Salutations respectueuses. Marie -pierre ❤

Thank you so much for your feedback. I am glad to know about you, and i am sure you can do it. Try to get material like silk paints(pebeo, marabu, or jacquard silk dyes) guttas for outlines from amazon.
Nice

Hi Abed Writing from South Africa, and don't always have access to materials used elsewhere. Noticed you were using little bowls with premixed coloring, and you mentioned the word paint. Are you suggesting one can use 'fabric paint' or is it a dye mix you are using? If it is dye, must it be coldwater dye , can one use hot water mixed dye and use it after its cooled down? Reason why I am asking is that 'hotwater dye' has a better selection of colors in our country Regards Ian Thomson What I saw on your channel is absolutely fantastic

Thank you so much for your words. I used silk paints, a brand pebeo seta silk paints that are in liquid form. I mixed my paints in water before painting because these are water-based. I am sorry for that if you can not get the silk paints there. Dyes are also available, but those are in liquid form for silk painting. Silk dyes in powder form is not a good choice for silk painting.

@@abidzcraft Thanks for your reply...is your name Abid or Abidz? I will most likely be messing around on cotton or linen. Just trying to keep myself busy. Used to do batik about 55 years ago, but nothing as beautiful as your art. Thanks again for replying Regards Ian

@ianthomson62 Ian, thanks. I am abid. You can paint your cotton or linen fabric after fixing it on the embroidery frame and with fabric paints. Batik is love. Time taking and difficult to remove from fabric, but the result you will get from Batik will be great.
your videos are quite explanatory...thank you for that. I have one question, I am using pebeo golden water based gutta. After washing the fabric, it gets removed. is it expected? My understanding was, only transparent gutta will be removed and colored one will be fixed. Please guide

I have Chanderi silk RFD fabric can I use silk paints on RFD fabric without bleached on fabric?

I have no idea about that fabric because that is pure indian fabric. I can suggest you get a small piece of fabric and paint with silk paints and check the result after washing.
Hello Abid, Such a great video… this one is my favourite! I’ve learned so much from watching your videos, so thank you for showing your technique, Abid! Question: I noticed that you added more gutta to the centre of the flower after you had started painting. 1) Was that on purpose or was it simply because you forgot to add certain details prior to painting? 2) What shapes were you making with the gutta? Small circles or tiny dots? It was hard to tell from the video. 3) Does this create more “depth” to the centre of the lotus? 4) What is “grip” silk? Is it lightweight silk, like habotai silk? Or is it a heavier-weight silk? Thanks so much! Kind regards, Toni

I am very thankful toni for your appreciation.😍😍 1-yes i am applying gutta in the video 2nd time because 1st i done 1st layer of my paint and i want to paint more details so i block the area again with gutta. 2-i observed the flower in detail and added line in the center part of flower which i want in lighten tone 3- yes for more details and depth. 4- it's very difficult for me to explain the grip silk because i don't know the international market name of this fabric but available in pakistan. Thick and doted fabric and in 40g, 60,80g. May be you can find this fabric in different name but i don't know about that. I will search the details of this fabric. 😊

@abidzcraft

Thank you so much. Are you applying gutta properly. 1. Your color will spread out If there is any break in gutta. 2. Do not apply so much water on the fabric.
Why u paint them light grey first? Thanks...
