I’ve been obsessed with your videos and am inspired. What would you say is the reason why you use iron-fixed paint instead of silk dye? Are there pros and cons to either?

I am very thankful to you. Silk dyes are better than silk paints. Paints will make layer on the surface of the fabric and make the fabric lil stiff but dyes will absorbed in fibers of fabric and will not effect the shining or softness of the silk. Unfortunately dyes are not available in pakistan and amazon is extremely expensive due to inflation rate. That's the reason i made my videos with silk paints. May be in future i will get the dyes.

My all tutorial for beginners. Silk painting is practice follow the tips which i gave in my videos and start small project and then go for the large size like sarrees,bed sheets and curtains.

Silk paints are transparent that's why we can use them on very light color or you can paint white base and paint background in dark colors

Srilanka not available to get the silk paints from your country lovely your work are amazing

If you want to make your color lighten then add water in paint . Quantity of water gives you the different tones of same color like if you add 80% water and 20% color that's mean you will get the very light color tone .less water less lighten tone.

Wonderful, but just wanted to know,why to dip in hot water to remove the gutta? Can't gutta be there because I don't want to wash the fabric. Please reply.

I am very grateful. Not in hot water just dip in normal tab water. I used transparent gutta in this video and this gutta need to be removed so that's why i ironed the fabric(used iron fixed silk paints) from both sides and then dip the fabric in normal water (do not use hot water) for 5 minutes

Not possible on silk with silk paints you can do it with fabric paints or block printings paste colors

Yes you can paint directly if your flowers are small in size . Apply water on the fabric in case of extra large petals

No ma'am. Iron the fabric after painting if your paints are iron fixed

hi there hopefully you are doing good. Ma'am it depends on your silk paints brand. This is nothing about the way you paint your fabric. You can find fabric softener from dyes shopes if that liquid available in pakistan.

I used sera silk paints .it depends on weather in summer fabric will dry quickly but in winter it takes time

Silk dyes are better than silk paints you can buy silk paints and silk dyes from amazon.or dharma trading. Kits are available for beginners on amazon

Yes maam but dyes need to be steamed. Or follow the instructions given on the paint or dyes labels

Sir in this video background you didn't add water in dye or paint. In leafs you added water in paint. But in flowers you didn't say that you add water or not. I'm not confused. Sir please share the free link of flowers so that you can use it. If it is possible. Thank you 😊

Please don't confuse. Apply water in the background. Otherwise, paint marks appear when you will paint on dry fabric. In flowers, if you want a light tone, add water according to your colour intensity. Less water for dark tones or less water for light tones.

Mujhe golden ya silver gutta line chahiye fabric pe wash se nikal na Jaye usko kaise permanent karna hai fabric pe?

@user-jt7rq3wb8x apply the gutta and let it dry. Then, paint your fabric . After painting, iron the fabric from both sides at least 10 minutes if you are using iron fixed gutta or colours. There is no need to wash that fabric where you apply colored gutta.

Dont you have to set the colors with chemicals before you place it in water?

Not at all these colors are iron fixed so no need to dip the cloth in any chemical

Gutta is resist and we use it for outline to paint inside the outline because silk paints are in liquid form.
