Thank you so much for your appreciation ❤️. Yes, you can paint all types of silk with gutta outliner and silk paints. Apply the gutta in slowly on thick silk to give a chance to fabric to absorb gutta . Treat the thin fabric normally, but make sure there is no any break in the gutta.

Ws. I always make the multi shades for my painting out of regular shades. For example, i used emerald green, yellow, and black in leaves, but i mixed the 3 colours in a different ratio and made 3 to 4 shades for my leaves. That's why i told you the simple names of colours

Beautiful work.. can u please tell why colour comes out of the design after applying guuta especially golden. It doesn't happen when I apply transparent Gutta..

Thanks maam. it depends on the quality of the gutta brand. Unfortunately i am marabu gutta user but i am facing this problem just because of the quality of the product. You have to be careful when you apply the gutta. Any miner break will be cause of color bleeding

Thanks ma'am. Silk paints are in liquid form and mostly fabric paints are in paste or thick form so that you cannot get the salt or other effect with fabric paints and you fabric will stiff after painting with fabric paints

gutta is a water-based resist for outline to stop the color bleed out of the outline which is in different colors like black, gold, silver, copper, and transparent too

Silk paints only for all types of pure silk .sometimes I use silk paints on cotton or organza but with fabric paints

Read the label of your silk paints.yes you can add water in silk paints and mostly silk paints are iron fixed

You are absolutely right, but i used white acrylic diluted in water

i want to know that the colour you are applying is that mixed with water or applying directly? i saw you other vdo where you mixed colour with water then applied directly to the silk & now you are applying water first then colour on it. so the colour ur applying directly or mixed?

I tried both methods 1. Diluted in water and apply directly 2. Aply the water on fabric then aply color and blend Note. 2nd one better for beginners

Pls show which colours and brand are you using for silk fabric, and how we can as much as can make colour patla like you are using.. What are you adding in the colour to make it patla

Hi No need to steam if you are using iron fixed silk paints. You can check on google. There are lots of different designs or patterns, or you can make your own design too

It depends how much lighten color you want to make.

Abid, you don’t spray or apply water before starting coloring (setasilk colors)…? I can see you doing on dry surface.

Water-based gutta take 3 to 5 hours in winter or 2 to 3 hours in summer. Colours take a few minutes in summer or 1 to 1 n half hour in winter

@user-de9vo4qx6o don't use acrylics on silk . You can paint on dyed silk . Or use light tones instead of dark ones if silk paints are costly. You can save your silk paints because of light tones or reserve remaining diluted paint in empty bottles
