Angela dosen't sound right, the line delivery of "I'm not lying!!" Bothered me. Donna Burke in the original fit the character, and said that line in a way that was both desperate and angry at James not taking her seriously in her point of view. I’m a month late, but Angela looks fine. Worst thing about her model is her eyebrows, and even then she looks like a normal woman.

I blame the voice director for making Angela sound like she's just talking instead of feeling depressed/distraught. Like the remake removes so much of her character. Same goes with James. He sounds snarky instead of defeated/lost

The original voices aren't perfect, but the emotion they are being directed matches with the scene they are going for. You can have a grade A voice actor and can still sound bad if the voice director isn't given them the right performance.

Remember guys. Silent hill 2 on PC, back in 2004, is considered abandoned ware. Which means you can not only download it for free but download a mod that makes silent hill 2 run better on modern PC. I refuse to play the remaster. I don’t care what anyone tells me.

I'll be honest, from what they've shown Angela's face is the least of my complaints. This thing would have to be scrapped and rebuilt from the ground up from me to have any interest in it

She simply has a new face and voice actor, she’s modeled after her VA and she looks pretty spot on. Not every character in every piece of media needs to be super hot, she’s fine the way she is.

Wow , in speechless. I dont know what to say. Angela’s face, her teeth, the voice acting . I need to take a seat.

Apparently all modern women in gaming collectively failed to get their mumps vaccine. So realistic!

My personal concern is not about her being "consulted". It's obvious that there is something wrong with the model and mocap quality. If James' face looks from PS5, Angela looks like a Sims 2 character. Also the line deliveries are the most important elements which are seemingly lacking. She sounds bored. Almost all of the unique intonations to her lines are lost. She could have a deep voice and have the original enthusiasm at the same time. She doesn't give that "constantly overthinking, in the survival mode" vibes anymore. Even her "Sorry" sounds reasonable here, although it was supposed to sound unnecessarily apologetic.
