When I fell in love with Ísland, i was listening to this song. I was overwhelmed by society and I was heartbreakingly longing for solitude. I was in deep sorrow one late night on my way home on the tram, and i got lost in my feelings so I missed my stop. It was the last cart, so I had to walk a good 20 minutes in the night, cold wind was blowing rainy snowflakes in my face, so i closed þy eyes. The minute i took my first step, this song came on. Since then, this lonely cold windy yet confident feeling is the essence of Home for me, hence my deep respect and love towards Ísland. My lifegoal from that moment on is to move to Ísland, and become a member of icelanders culture and society and to take my part in the country's heritage and economy. Guð blessi Ísland!
