My cat died due to stroke back in 2013 she was 14 years old I had bound with my little girl she is my daughter she was very special in my life Impact in my life in positive way . My great grandmother and my cat both died from a stroke I love my cat so much I couldn't let my cat suffer it was hard to put her down I didn't want her to suffer but my cat is better place with god

My cat caught stroke the other day, I'm trying to still try feed him, I can't take him to the vet, we can't afford it. I'm glad other pets gets saved from these situations. Im not sure if my cat will survive it😔

did Lenin recover? the symptoms are close to my 15 year old boy that I just lost. I wish I had a vet who cared like you. they were ready to put him down before we even did blood work. Echo had what seemed to be a stroke at home, and couldn't walk straight after, but it was only his front right leg that would falter. He had hypertension, HBP, hypothyroid.. but I feel like we could have medicated him and watched him.. and had at least a few more days together.

My 12 year old cat fell September 1st. I took her to a local Vet which did X-rays and blood work, but she showed no sit of broken bones or disease. He sent off for a Thyroid test, but never told me if it came back positive. My Molly is experiencing simililar symptoms to the 15 year old cat. The fall left her debilitated. I brought her home from the Vet after 2 weeks because I was hit with a big bill. All that was administered was fluids and pain reliever, and antibiotics. She couldn't move at all when we got her home, but could lift her head. The Vet did received taking her to a neurologist, but I didn't want to take her so far from home. Molly did fairly good for the first 3 days, but now she's not eating and drinking at times. She's urinating fine, but she hasn't had a bowel movement for 2/1/2 days. I can't afford to get her well due to no insurance. I've set-up a GoFundMe campaign to help with her medical bills @

Do you have any suggestions on how helpful it is to use plavix on a cat with cerebellar stroke and no underlying issues found (other than FIV/Felv)? Also is there anything I can do to help him rehab?
