I loved your description of what makes a witch. I grew up with pagan beliefs, my great grandmother teaching me to read tea leaves. At the age of 14, I rejected the church it didn't make sense for me. Over the years, I've identified as Wiccan, pagan, druid. Continued learning and growing experiencing life, and I'd say for the last 30 year's I identify as just a witch because that's what I am. I'm very intuitive, love gardening, animals, and herbalism.I believe in faery. At 64, I'm very content with that. I never plan on stopping my growth and development as such. I always rather laugh at this what kind are you or what makes you a witch.

I live off grid in the Maine woods and every morning I have visitors; squirrels, wild birds including eagles, woodpeckers, wrens, Chickadees etc, and 🦊 , 🦌, moose.. the birds play with my hair and the squirrels sit by me for hours.. the fox walks by all the time but stays about 25 yards away it's been years.. the deer and moose come about 25 feet away and watch me dance to music by the 🔥.. love life

You just gave the best example of what makes a witch. It is such an empowering feeling to know that we all have the power and energy within us.

Love that! love kittens too as they are so SWEET - we used to have kittens each year, and I loved playing with them. empathy is the biggest part of my practice, as with it I can feel the spirits and their intentions - it helps me communicate with the occult - although I do have problems sometimes in a crowd and have to remember to “tune out” as otherwise I get overwhelmed.

@BlueFirePhoenix but is what she is "teaching" true and provable? Thats the issue here. Shes spreading lies as truth making people think magic is real when she has no way to legitimately prove it because if she could, she would be the most famous person in history doing something no human has ever accomplished; proving the supernatural and potentially saving billions of lives. But just like most of these people who dont Know basic human biology, geology or anything related to science that we currently understand they will say "its my belief leave me alone!" Well your beliefs could harm yourself and others there are people harming their kids not taking them to the medical treatment they potentially need to cure them of something medical science could easily fix because all they have to do is pray to their mystical god or cast a spell so the uncaring universe can be fooled into caring about a small speck of meat sacks on a floating blue rock in space when in every case 9/10 times the child dies of negligence and the parents end up in court and potentially face a large prison sentence. Lame. When you people are able to actually prove magic, that would be cool but speculation that is completely unprovable is just that unprovable

I love your description of what a witch is. I feel like I was always a witch, since I was little. I did sympathetic magic when I was young and didn't really know what I was doing. It just came naturally. I am a healer, and an empath. I am also a hearth or kitchen witch, and I'm a touch psychic. And I am always looking for new things to learn, (total Ravenclaw, lol) But I think it's something you just know. Love your videos!

I have just now come to accept the identity of a witch, though I have always known I was a witch since I was 5, but initially rejected the label the majority of my life. I have been psychic for nearly 20 years, and can detect both polarities of spirits/energy/prana materially and non-materially. the one thing I want to add is you are not a witch just because someone else tells you that you are not a witch or can't be a witch and you are a witch if when you say ' I am a witch' and you don't just hear the words but you feel the words deep down inside as if you just came home from a long trip and you feel that comfort and belonging because you have just come home. The rest is discovery and journey and that keeps going and going, there is no end to that since being a witch is about the journey not the destination. jmho :)

@@GinnyMetheral omg yes please do that! 😁 As for me, the difficulty being a clairsentience is sometime I still fall back into mixing between my emotion & the emotion/energies around 😅 especially , in time of stress and not good enough confidence. Another friend of me that has similar sensitivity feels that, too .. so you can give some tips if you know & I can share the vid with them 😃 I only know how to handle it (when got caught by that) by using crystals like jet , hematite .. and grounding crystals/doing grounding itself

Exactly Right...so there it is...I am not mad after all...Not specifically organised. More in tune with signs and what is your naturally internal feelings and interests. Intuitive, Gut, Etc. You can’t really explain or rationalise it...certainly to shutdown souls. Great to watch..🍄🍄

As a child I used to talk to fairies in my grandma's garden. I have always felt the energies of others. My mom was a broom-closet witch and my grandma (her mother) used to be in a coven long ago before she became a Mormon. Neither taught me anything witchy related, It was like I had to find my own path, and eventually I did. I just learn learning from different types of witches.

I consider myself a conduit, animals aren’t attracted to me, I collect candles, tea pots, not drawn to the moon, but am towards clouds, don’t notice number patterns.

i always felt that being clairaudient was being a real witch ... it really is something that i felt for myself not being able to before my 40 to be able to do .. i became a witch when i became clairaudient then i knew things about people and preminitions and stuff witches do

i love the moon and rainy days to read a good book. and accept being weird. :)

I don’t notice numbers but then I am sort of blind in one eye so maybe that is why I use my inner eye more?

My grandfather used to called my grandmother a witch, she had great intuition & probably was clairvoyant. It runs in the family. We call it “the knowing”. We have a lot of empaths/HSPs (highly sensitive person) also. I wonder if it’s our ancestry. We are English/Scottish/Irish, that’s it. One reason I married my husband is we would be thinking the same thing at the same time, it was eerie at fist. As it happens, we are 3rd cousins! I think our intuition was a greater part of our lives at one time. Think of the world today, we seem to going back to barbarism rather than going forward. Always dark energy to fight, we have lost our edge a little.

I used to be a practicing Christian. But now I am drawn into being a grape stomper. I am stomping where grapes of wrath are stored. I feel like fighting for innocence. Put it that way. In my magick. And I might not always get it right but. It's known.

This is interesting. I've always been able to see what others can not. I'm not a fan of fairies because here in aotearoa, I was taught to be careful of them and never trust their intentions. This list is a generic list so I wouldn't get to excited as I've been around and taught about the other world since I was born. So does that make me a sixth generation witch. I'm not sure. But appreciate what others experience and share so thank you.

I think the idea is that most or all apply, but again, it's applicable to many who have no interesting WC. Cute, but whimsical, if one takes WC seriously. I imagine different witches have varied interests and skills.

I agree, but I think that my real point is that if you want to call yourself a witch, then you are one.

Thank you. I took tests when I was a teenager to see if I had psychic abilities, and I came up average virtually every time. Even now when I see these signs on being a witch on YT, I know I fail spectacularly. I can mimic all these traits, but I don’t normally have them on full blast all the time. I’m mediocre at best. Nature? I like to sit out there and zone out. Empath? Not really. There are things that scare most people which don’t effect me. Healing? I could, but I don’t. Making potions when I was a kid? Nope. The desire is there, but if it doesn’t go boom or go dark or isn’t a freak accident somehow…good or bad…then I get bored. So far witchcraft hasn’t been that exciting. Watching superhero movies would probably be more interesting than what passes for magic. Which is too bad.

@@GinnyMetheral: Interesting question. I’ve never seen or read Dr. Strange except what I saw in ads, but I feel weirdly drawn to what little I’ve seen. Maybe with a healthy dose of “Supernatural” thrown in. I was just thinking about that, while modern witches speak of casting circles that create space between two worlds, it seems that’s my life. (Like, who needs circles?) It’s not the otherworlds, but it’s not this realm either. I can’t say I’m a New Ager because I don’t resonate with them…I’m not bright, bubbly, and upbeat for that…actually, I don’t like them…but the more I think of it, the more it seems I resemble them, only I think I’m some kind of darker, gothy, more humorously snarky version of them. They *might* call it being an energy-worker, but I can’t imagine myself a white-lighter. A red-lighter maybe… That’s the closest I can get to describing it. I suspect *something,* but don’t know what it is.

When I read your post, I just started to smile and chuckle to myself. I love your honesty and how you really see yourself. Sometimes I have a short attention span and at other times, I find myself locking in to what I am watching, listening, or reading. Depends upon my mood. However, I love learning new things, even if it is for only a few minutes at a time. So many people want to be “special.” What we all are is unique in our very own way. No one has our exact DNA. So, although I consider myself “ordinary” my husband and children see me extraordinary, which makes my heart sing. And yes, you don’t fit into a mold and neither do I. Maybe that’s what makes us special in our own right. Thank you for sharing your thoughts and reply. I enjoyed reading it. I just turned 61 and am now just realizing my worth.

Is there such thing as a gym witch? I use energy to pick heavy things up and put them down repeatedly 😅.

I don't think you give yourself enough credit especially since you grew up as a witch because animals are very intuitive and all the stray animals end up at my house which is house however the animals that show up like most people in my home except for my eldest stepson as well as my dog my familiar Louie he never lets anyone pick him up it took him 2 months before he allowed me to pick him up I got him from a rescue and immediately upon meeting my boyfriend he allowed him to pick him up my new boyfriend that I've been with for a while now but upon meeting him immediately he allowed him to pick him up which told me that this is a great person so animals are definitely drawn to specific people and and the and most people won't care for squirrels or snakes or other insects bees things like that but I imagine that you probably do and I also feel like you're not giving yourself enough credit because your videos heal a lot of people they answer a lot of questions and I find that to be very healing and helpful and you make me feel like I've learned something and that I've spiritually grown I feel like that's healing and in addition to all of that I feel like you do meet all these qualifications on the list and you just don't give yourself enough credit however I don't think this is an all-inclusive list either it's just something someone threw together because witchery has become mainstream now it's become cool it's no longer as taboo as it once was you can go to a bookstore and get a witch starter kit so I feel like the mainstream being which now makes a lot of different things for those of us who have been in the broom closet all this time afraid of persecution or being made fun of or what have you you know we finally can come out and say oh I've been doing this for a long time and everybody is just like oh that's so cool instead of like oh you're creepy and scary and stay away from me and you must worship Satan and all those things that was once associated with witchcraft people thinking it's cool and alternative and against the mainstream even though it's become mainstream but really you're a witch if you say you're a witch you don't have to come from a long genealogy of witchery hereditary witch or the only real witches that's not true you're witch if you say you're a witch

Please try to charge or resonate my energy to know that I'm witch or not because I have resonated with the all points you mention. I have experience sleep paralysis, vivid dream dream in dream,i have body temperature and heart beat rising for no reason, I'm a healer , I'm empathy , mensuration prblm, wake up in midnight or 3 to 5 am, i curious about spirituality but nt into religious, i can sense the energy and atmosphere, no friends happy to watch moon, specially cats are drawn to me and somewhat i can talk to them, i hv experience paranormal activities too and if discrimination happens infornt of me i hate that i try to help them.
