Siglent SDS1104X E scope unboxing and review

Ғылым және технология

In this video I'm taking a look at Siglents 4 channel 100MHz scope. This is an unboxing and review of siglent SDS1104X-E.
I've had this scope for a while and just now finally am making a video about it. In my opinion its a very good scope for the price and there nothing that beats its value.
If you have any other questions or topics you'd like me to go over in more detail just comment down in comment section and ill be sure to answer all questions.

I see you have "upgraded" to 200Mhz 🙂 Did mine too. I wish it had a Z-output.

Is there a tutorial to follow to upgrade to 200Mhz? I am considering to buy this scope as well

When its turned on it the first thing it does is calubration. First turn on its full cal and every next time you turn it on it does quick cal

I noticed that time and date is not retained at all, not even a minute, after a shutdown. Maybe not used so much but that is really bad either way as I see it and I use it time to time.

You can set it to sync to a NPT time server everytime you turn it on and then in periodic intervals. You do need to connect it to WiFi or lan for that but it works well

@@latenightprojects Ok cool didn't knew, but still you shouldn't have to do that on a scope so that was a real surprise.

@@dtiydr yea true although afaik basically all the scopes are like that. Atleast all the ones I've used

@@latenightprojects I have a few little older handheld ones and they are not like that, had and old Tektronics and that was not like that either. Guess they have just ignored that in in modern scopes which is messed up since it would be so extremely easy for them to fix.

@dtiydr for handheld ones it makes sense as the battery is always in it and there's no psu that's getting switched off. Should have clarified that all the other scopes I've used that even had a clock option were modern digital scopes.
