The arrow hitting the target before you shot tripped me out.good looking bow, color is great, but what's most important is how she shoots and holds. Having a hard time between the elite echelon, pse supra focus, shoot down, perform x 3D...... Most of these are pse so that says something about pse. I like the adjustability they offer. No other bow provides that. Anyway, thank you for making these videos. You're the only person making quality pse videos.

That’s why I prefer dogs with short hair. I really like that bow and am seriously considering ordering one. Would like to ask a favor though. Please do a video on all the colors that bow comes in so we can make informed decisions before we order. No where is there a place to see them all not even the PSE website, they only sow small parts of the bow in the various colors. Great shooting just a couple of clicks down on the 90m.

Hi Steve I'm from the good old UK I have just bought a supra focus 60lb but being a beginner I'm struggling with getting the bow to sit without movement I'm 6 foot six not weak but I cant seam to get a good balance I'm using a 30 bar 8oz on the front and 6 on the back single side bar which is out to the far left for torque but my pin wont settle apart from more weight what can I do? Do I increase the rear weight over the front or vice versa never had a deflex riser before...

Interesting comments re the aesthetics of the Focus, Steven. Such a subjective quality , eh ? Being involved in design for many years, I intensely dislike purposeless "hooks", "fins", "horns" & other ugly tacky bits on risers & actually find them in bad taste. When I first laid eyes on this new Focus, the simple sleek sweeping balanced lines appealed, & was the initial feature that grabbed my attention. The geometry & hold confirmed that I had to own one.

Watch your own video and notice your anchor at 30m and 90m. Its geometrically impossible to have the same anchor at different distances with a peep sight and scope combination, even if you tilt at the hip. This happens on moving scopes and not on fixed pin sights.

SoManyBasses ...actually the guy is right. Anchor point does change as yardage increases when using a sliding type sight. In fact, pro target archers will often set up their bows by sighting in their peep sight to the average yardage they plan on shooting. Many of them have dedicated rigs for each discipline they shoot. So they will setup a specific rig for 18m/20yds, that has the peep set for the greatest accuracy at that distance. The peep height and therefor anchor position will be different for shooting 50m as they do in World Archery events. So another bow is setup for that distance, and if you measure the peep position, it will be different from the 18m position. 3D archers, who face a variety of distances over the course of a competition, will often set their peep for an average distance like 35yds. That gives the most comfortable and accurate anchor over the entire range of distances being shot. So sure, you can set your peep at any old height that matches your form, but if you want to pick up a few points around the course, try sighting in your peep to an average distance, as opposed to the distance of the range in your backyard or pro shop.

Wow. You are far from ready for a competition with that bow setup 😂. Why not do a simple and quick walk back tune to set up the centre alignment. And as for the peep and scope alignment it's not possible for them to be aligned at all distances if you are still keeping the exact same form. Any experienced archer will tell you that you keep the same form and accept that over the longer and shorter distances your peep will be a tiny bit high or low and you will have to either move it (which you shouldn't really) or just adjust head position a tiny bit but it's adjusted knowing you are adjusting to fit the different height. I like your videos but you really don't explain things properly. Anyone reading this... please understand that peep alignment will always be a little off and it's the archer that has to adjust themselves to get the correct alignment. This isn't properly explained in this video.

Well said Tommy. It also looks like Steven’s DL is a touch long. I would think he might shoot a bit better if he dropped at least a half inch to get his right elbow a bit higher. The imaginary line from his elbow to his release points slightly upward. Greater accuracy is achieved when that line points slightly (or more downward). Yes, yes, yes, I know pro shooters like Reo shoot with a longer DL than optimum. They also shoot on level ground at fixed distances. You can get away with stuff like that in a perfectly controlled environment. If you take that same form to events that feature uphill, downhill, and sidehill shots, with possible uneven footing, it can get frustrating. So if you are shooting high scores, but not quite high enough for your liking, try shortening your DL a bit.
