Sight Jigging Trophy Bull Drum @ 30 Ft Deep (Garmin Livescope Plus)

In this video I tried the New Livescope Plus setup for Bull Drum fishing in the Chesapeake Bay. I have had the original Livescope for years but found that it was somewhat limited when searching for bottom fish. The new Plus transducer really cleaned up the image and the improved target separation really helped define the fish that are on the bottom.

Great video Jesse! Awesome day. One thing that I've learned, and I learned it musky fishing, is that you get a strong recovery when you rock the fish right to left rather than front to back with your wrist and that gets their equilibrium back quicker. But you're absolutely correct, they deserve our respect to take the time to revive them to fight another day. Each fish that you release is a fish of a lifetime in the future for a fellow angler. Nice work jiggin' 'em up man!.
I went out with him this past Saturday and he put us on the fish instantly and we had a blast. We caught some huge sheepshead and a giant bull red. Do yourself a favor and book a charter with him.
That was me and my buddy in the boat. Love your vids jesse
Glad you had a day off to get out and enjoy a solo mission!
Nice work Jesse you Hammered them Bulls Dude Good Job 👍🎣
We were there the same day. While sheepshead fishing we saw quite a few on the livescope as well. Believe me we will have a bucktail next time. Great video!!
Great Video!!
Awsome catchin' man, frk'n nice!!
Awesome video.... was thinking about heading up that way in a few weeks to get some sheepshead (thanks to your videos) and will definitely be bringing a rod with a bucktail set-up, too. BTW, your livescope installation video for kayaks is great... got it set-up on my personal kayak and will probably buy a second unit this Christmas so that my GF can have it, too. Keep up the informative videos!
Love this video ❤ jess
That’s awesome man just now got a active target on my kayak. Hopefully it a help me catch some fish!!
Sweet video man! Used livescope for the first time a couple weeks back for crappie, this is the first I'm seeing it used for bulls haha you caught some studs on this trip, one of these days I have to make a trip to the Chesapeake with my kayak to chase some giant sheep and bulls. Keep up the good work!
Beautiful boat tight lines fair seas from Cape Charles
Can you do a video on your Livescope set up and screenshots of what you see on the screen?
I have 3 different sizes of those nets and have had one failure. The good news is if you go to the manufacturer website, you can order the replacement parts fairly cheap. Only cost me about $10 to fix mine.
Yee Haw very nice 👍
I sailed by you Sunday and told you you were the reason I got the livescope. Sunday was my first trip out with it. I feel like the set of pilings I was on had a pile of sheep on it but nothing would eat. We didn't have very long to fish so we gave it about and 1 1/2- 2 hours and started trolling for Spanish so we'd atleast have some meat in the box. Great video. I'm gonna have to try for the reds now!!
Great Video! I love my Livescope, have been using it to great effect here in Michigan for salmon, can't wait to experiment with it in Florida this snowbird season. Is that a LVS 32 or 34 your using and what range do you get in the salt? Are you considering the new LVS 62 XR for saltwater?
Can you make a video on what you look at for wind and tide forecast etc. before a trip.
I’m looking into love scope, I don’t like the idea of mounting it to the trolling motor. I think I see you have it mounted off to the side of the boat. Did you ever mount it up front , what made you decide to put it off to the side ?
Would've been nice to include some screen shots of the LiveScope images

Yeah true, didn't think of it, sorry
Nice Bulls! I need to get out there and try those big bucktails. I've been nailing Blues by the MMBT, but I'd rather get some flounder or Reds.
Thinking about starting with a livescope 32. I see you have a plus. What are your thoughts on the 32
Good job bud! I've been waiting for the Fall bite. Too dang hot this summer for my big butt.
What electronics set up do you use Jesse?
where on the bridge were you? thanks
