How far is this red dot good up to?

I'm sure you've noticed it by now, but the little metal bit that is used to secure the sight to the rail with the screw is flipped backwards on yours. 😉

The other 2 versions (X and XDR) are more compact, have internal adjustments, and use triple A batteries. The XDR can have a 65 MOA circle around the dot.

I own 2 I got one for 115 shipped for free on ebay and it was great. I went to leave positive feedback and there was an ebay coupon and I was able to get the other one for $20 off ..$95 shipped !! This is small and lightweight with crystal clear glass lens. The thing I like the most is it turns on and off without pushing a button!!!

hello, my romeo 5 isnt turning off automatically after 2 minutes. any idea how to actiave this??

I just picked up one from one of my favorite local shops that had it on sale for Father's day, not as good a deal you got but close. I didn't want to spend a lot of money for a red dot for my new Hi Point 10mm carbine, but unlike their other carbines, they actually went an extra mile with the improvements on the 1095TS and it's worthy of a better optic than the $50 'Big 5 special' reflex red dot I've got on my 4595TS. I went on reputation alone and didn't even realize there were three different models. I'm impressed so far but have yet to get to the range to zero it. Hopefully it'll hold up to full power 10mm rounds, after my experience with rail optics on my Shockwave I've learned to temper my expectations. I'm also glad I went with the entry model since I have to use the lower mount to get co-witness with the stock iron sights, the next two models with the battery mounted under the optic wouldn't have worked. Btw, if you haven't already caught this, I noticed in the last segment of your video where you're showing installed on your scar, that part that you took out of the bottom of the box and later figured was used to mount it is actually on backwards, at least at the time you videoed that last scene.

Hope it works out well with your 10mm Hi Point! That's a cool looking carbine. Thanks for the info with my SCAR video, appreciate the feedback. I'll try to be more careful in vids going forward. I actually plan on putting an adjustable magnification optic on the SCAR when I get a chance.

I got one for my scar 17 to try out and so far so good after 300 rounds. Zeroed in 7 rounds

Where did you buy these? Mine looks identical but I noticed a forum post about fake Romeo 5's that have a Energizer "made in China" battery. Kinda spooked me

Late response and yes, I run one on my benelli m4 and still holds true after running plenty of nasty ass 12 gauge ammo through the weapon.

I have the sig romeo5 it looks great I’ve had it for a while now an just put it on my rifle, I looked through the scope and it had a very small red dot. I mashed the + button and with just one click it looked like a star burst went off. The rays covered the entire scope lens. I don’t know if there’s something I can do or I need to call Sig it’s pretty much useless when it looks like the dot exploded all over the lens. Just wondering if anyone else had this problem and what they did.

Thought the same too when I bought mine and turned up the brightness setting. May just be the lighting in the environment where you are; try viewing your romeo5 through a brighter lighting setting/environment bc lower lighting has the tendency to make the red dot sight look more prismatic and distorted

You have the small piece used to mount it to the rail is backwards. 😒

The one I got the dot is all distorted. I’m sending it back

Just an FYI, installed one yesterday on a CZ Scorpion 9mm, after 200 shots it completely failed. Very disappointed!

Zero failed and was unable to get it to zero in again. Once it fails, trust goes out the window. Going for the Holosun 503C and hope it works! For the first 200 shots it was magnificent, clear dot, solid unit, etc.

georgio m If it failed once probably means not suitable for that type of gun. Lost trust, rather get one better.

you put the thing you first didn't knew up on your scar the wrong side. be careful to not damage those

Never mind, I was only worried that in the worst case this beautiful gun could get damaged. Shame that I'm not able to buy a SCAR here in Austria.... Its like a dream to own/shoot one for me as a educaded weapon-engineer :-P
