les plus grands sculpteurs de tous âges ont travaillé pour la cathédrale de Sienne. Parmi eux figurent Nicola Pisano qui a sculpté la chaire entre 1265 et 1268, Donatello dont l'œuvre survivante est une statue de Saint Jean-Baptiste dans la chapelle du même nom, Michel-Ange qui a sculpté Saint Pierre, Saint Paul, Saint Pie et Saint Augustin pour les Piccolomini. autel et Gian Lorenzo Bernini qui a sculpté les statues de Sainte Marie-Madeleine et de Saint Jérôme dans la "Cappella del Voto"

Uno degli edifici più belli della città toscana è il Duomo di Siena, un interessante mix di stili romanico e gotico, è una delle cattedrali più grandi d'Italia. Il Duomo di Siena fu costruito tra il 1215 e il 1263.

Fațada impozantă prezintă scene sfinte create de mai mulți artiști de-a lungul timpului, inclusiv Pinturicchio. O vizita in Siena nu este completa daca nu va opriti sa admirati magnifica Catedrala, unul dintre cele mai bune exemple ale arhitecturii romanesti din Italia. Constructia catedralei a inceput in secolul 12, iar fatada acesteia a fost terminata in anul 1380.

the greatest sculptors of all ages worked for Siena Cathedral. Their number includes Nicola Pisano who sculpted the pulpit between 1265 and 1268, Donatello whose work is a statue of St. John the Baptist in the homonymous chapel, Michelangelo who sculpted St. Peter, St. Paul, St. Pius and St. Augustine for the Piccolomini. altar and Gian Lorenzo Bernini who sculpted the statues of Saint Mary Magdalene and Saint Jerome in the "Cappella del Voto" or Chapel of the Covenant.

Entre le XIIe et le XVe siècle, d'innombrables monuments et œuvres d'art ont été ajoutés à la beauté naturelle de la ville, inscrite sur la liste du patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO depuis 1995. Sienne est une ville qui rivalise avec Florence en termes d'urbanisme et offre une vue magnifique. à ne pas manquer si vous êtes en Toscane.

Une visite à Sienne n'est pas complète si vous ne vous arrêtez pas pour admirer la magnifique cathédrale, l'un des meilleurs exemples de l'architecture roumaine en Italie. La construction de la cathédrale commença au XIIe siècle et sa façade fut achevée en 1380.

Este es uno de los mercados más famosos de Italia y probablemente el que tiene la forma más original. Piazza del Campo está en el sitio de lo que alguna vez fue un foro romano, ubicado frente al Palazzo Pubblico y la Torre del Mangia. La zona se utilizó originalmente como mercado comercial y sólo en 1288 cambió de destino. De 1327 a 1349 se realizaron trabajos de pavimentación en la plaza, utilizando ladrillos rojos especiales. I have visited many places and have photographed and filmed material for a long time to come. And I like to remind myself of these wonderful places that I have visited. We are left with this. With memories

I live in Florence, not far from Siena and still I haven't been there! I do intend to go in a few weeks time when the summer kicks in fully! I will take my vintage Fiat 500 and explore Tuscany. Congrats on reaching 15 subs Mircea, really well deserved!
