Memories of Pisa
Pisa, is a city of approximately 90,000 inhabitants, in the Tuscany region of Italy, located at the mouth of the Arno River in the Mediterranean. The famous Piață a Domului, known as the Piaţa Miracolelor, world heritage of humanity, with the Cathedral built with white and colored marble, between 1063 and 1118, in the Romanesque style, stands out. In the square rises the Leaning Tower, bell tower from the 12th century, 56 m high , which acquired its characteristic inclination ten years after the beginning of its construction, today one of the most famous Italian monuments in the world. Pisa , este un oraș de aproximativ 90.000 de locuitori, în regiunea Toscana din Italia, situat la vărsarea râului Arno în Marea Mediterană. Se remarcă celebra Piață a Domului, cunoscută drept Piața Miracolelor, moștenire mondială a umanității, cu Catedrala construită cu marmură albă și colorată, între anii 1063 și 1118, în stil romanic. În piață se înalță Turnul Înclinat, turn-clopotniță din secolul al XII-lea, înalt de 56 m, care și-a dobândit înclinația caracteristică la zece ani de la începutul construcției sale, astăzi unul dintre cele mai cunoscute monumente italiene din lume. Multumesc si pentru amintiri Mircea. Da am fost si am vazut de 6 sau 7 ori!! De fapt, ne-am întors acasă cu un set mare de șah făcut din marmură. Întreaga zonă este cu adevărat drăguță și activă.😍💖 Atât de multe de văzut aici și în zona Tuscana din jur. Vă mulțumim că ați împărtășit cu noi. Noi suntem unul! de la Paulo & Kathy în GB 🤝👍✊

Pisa is a beautiful city with many valuable monuments. I've been to Rome, Padua, Venice and Florence, but I haven't made it to Pisa. Thank you for this photographic report and best regards. 😀
