From not a long time ago the Österreichische Bundesbahnen have taken license to pull freight trains in Bulgaria - the name of the company is Rail Cargo Austria. The route of their trains is Ruse - Kaspichan - Sindel - Karnobat - Stara Zagora - Dimitrovgrad - Svilengrad. Except from the 1116 class locomotives which are in operation of those trains, sometimes a locomotive of the state operator BDZ could be spotted helping to pull the heavy trains.
