I have the same boot with approximately 200 hours of riding and I'm due for new soles, but have been apprehensive about tackling this project. Once again top shelf video.

Great instructional video! After 1 year how do you like the Enduro soles? I just picked up my first pair of SRS boots after ten years on the TA sole. First ride with the standard SRS sole felt very slippery when dabbing in the rocks. Thinking about the Enduro soles but was worried about getting hung up on the pegs and it looks like they increase the height of boot a bit? or are they the same thickness as the standard soles!

Yes, I much prefer the enduro sole over the regular sole for the riding I do. Grip on muddy slopes is much better. Grip on the footpegs is also improved, which may take a few rides to get comfortable with as it is quite different.

Been thinking about going to those soles. Mine are worn, but I was apphrensive on the enduro sole getting hung up on the footpegs. I'm really used to the other soles.

Yes, one of my riding buddies mentioned that the enduro soles can get hung up on the foot pegs and take a bit of time to get used to. But I thought I'd try them anyway. They should certainly help with bike recovery on muddy slopes as the stock soles offer almost no grip. Will see how I like them...

I was hoping to replace mine with the enduro soles for CF2 boots. I got a rock wedged in the edge of the sole. The 2 version doesn't have the glue. I take them off every so often and clean it out. Would likely use some glue on the edges. Did you just contact adhesive like you do for laminate counters tops?

The exact glue I used is Konishi Bond G17 fast drying solvent contact adhesive.

If I wasn't using glue I would certainly use a spray of water and dish soap. But that wouldn't work well with the contact adhesive...

Are the srs boots still narrow? Bought some several years ago and they were absolute agony. Bought non SRS sidis and they fit fine.

If you like the fit of the non SRS version (TA), then I suspect you will find the SRS too narrow. I like the fit of the SRS (and not the TA), but everyone's foot shape is different...

About 80H. I should note that my footpegs (Fastway EVO 4) are quite aggressive and tend to wear the soles relatively quickly. I could've used them longer, but I had ordered the Enduro soles a while ago and was keen to try them. Rode with them today and didn't really notice any difference while on the pegs, braking, or shifting. So I will continue to use them...

Yes, I much prefer these soles over the stock ones. Grip is far better in slick conditions and they also grip the footpegs very well. Due to the increased grip on the footpegs they may take some getting used to initially, particularly when taking you feet off the footpegs.

I have been seeing complaints on the internet about these boots that SIDI are no longer producing them in Italy and that many of there boots are giving problems, soles falling apart and complaints that they are not lasting more then a year and a half. Do you know any thing about these problems because they are really putting me away from buying these boots !

My Sidi Crossfire3 SRS boots have been great. No Complaints. One of my friend has them too and his have been great too. Previously I had some Crossfire2 SRS boots and the SRS soles would often pull off from the toe. Really didn't like those.
