Side to Side Shuffle & Throw - Infield Drill
A simple, yet effective drill. I like this drill because it works on three aspects:
1. I’m working on keeping my feet light and quick.
2. My glove is out. There’s no flipping it up and down. It’s out until I’m ready to field the ball.
3. I’m working on a different arm slot- more of a side arm. This is great for my shortstops throwing to 2nd or 3rd or my second baseman’s throwing to 1st or 2nd. Notice once I field the ball, I’m staying in my legs the entire time.

Thank you!
Is the intention to throw from that angle only to 2B? How do incorporate throwing to 1B?

You can definitely use this throw from 2B to 1B. If the second baseman has to go a little bit to her right, to where it's not too far to where she would have to backhand and she can get in front of the ball instead, she can use this throw to 1B.
You shouldn’t have a flat wrist that makes a ramp
