    Should you try and receive the ground ball on your glove foot or in the center?

    how do you time right foot /left foot on a moving ball? Is this just a timing issue?

    Yes it's timing. Practice and gets lots of reps in. Try rolling balls to them. Right/left should put the ball in center. Left foot heal should land at the same time the ball hits the glove to keep momentum going towards 1st or target.
