@@kaaa5937 Yeah, not sure I'd suggest that either, by the sounds of it. Best to leave the past in the past and keep moving forward. Whether they mean to or not, addicts have a tendency to take everyone around them down too. I know both sides of this coin from personal experience and it rarely goes well unless the addict is done and ready to get clean themselves. Addiction can be one of the hardest battles a human can face and while I'm not suggesting addicts should all be left to their own devices, you've got to protect yourself, first and foremost. Wishing the OP, brother and ex all the best and really hope everything works out well for the three of you. Hope everyone else is having a gorgeous weekend, y'all stay safe out there!

Free Hugs won best video of the year with this song (Juan Mann). Back when MTV played music. Shim reached out to me thru MySpace because of my huge support of INXS and I've loved this band ever since. Meet them at HOB in Myrtle Beach. Such a great concert

Same!! I saw them open for Evanescence. I walked in not caring to hear anyone but, was dreading having to sit through some band called "sick puppies". Yeah... bought their album at Sam Goody the next day lol

This song really hits home. I’ve been there, and it was that in itself that taught me it is better to be alone than with someone who makes you feel alone. I don’t think I’ll ever fully move on, but I’m, and I say this with heavy words and sorrow for all those who have been through this, glad I’m not alone. We’ll find someone who treats us the way we deserve.

2021, still one of the most underrated songs IMO.

"Go ahead, say it! You're leaving" is my absolute favorite part of this badass song!

At 3:00 to 3:05 when he sings "I'll take you for who you are yea". The growl you hear in his voice 'are yea' really tells the emotion he has for this song when he sang it. This is a fantastic song.

@@reeceball I get that, but I can always differentiate between an emotional growl and a passionate growl. I love screams in metal, but sometimes raw emotion can overpower any scream. That's what Shim did there to me.

Yeah, Shimon Moore is "Sick Puppies". "Sick Puppies" with Bryan Scott are not "Sick Puppies" anymore.

Saw these guys live in 2007 in Detroit. I'll never forget that night. Actually, I'll never forget that time period because I saw so many great bands live who went on to be larger than life.

Announced today...." On October 20th Sick Puppies announced that I was leaving the band. This was the first I had heard of it. The truth is that there was tension in the band after the many years of touring. I had hoped that some time apart would resolve these issues and lead us to the next phase of our career. It unfortunately seems that Emma and Mark have decided to move on with a new singer instead. It has taken a couple of days for me to respond because I have needed a bit of time to get over the news. Emma, Mark and I have done the impossible together. We turned a bunch of songs and a dream into a reality, then traveled the world to show it to everyone. For that I will always be grateful to them. I am deeply saddened to have lost my band after all these years. I am so touched by the messages from you all asking me if I will be continuing in music and the answer is obviously “Yes.” Since the announcement I have been locked out of all the Sick Puppies socials and mailing lists so you won’t be able to hear about it through those sites. If you want to hear my new music, please follow and share my socials with your friends from the links below. For those of you I may lose during this time, I will miss you.
