I don't understand the title? It's Siargao of the Philippines. Why have to put Bali as if it's trying to be a copycat or a secondhand of Bali. Both have their own beauty, character and vibes.

The colors of your vlogs are so vivid!!! You feature the island well. Sorry to hear you got ill and missed out on Sohotan Cove, one of the few places on earth where you can swim in a clear water lagoon with beautifully colored (orange) stingless jellyfish!!! It's absolutely mesmerizing!!!

Sorry to say this, but it's quite some stingless jellyfish lakes/lagoons in the world. Indo alone has 9 known spots with stingless jellyfishes, 3 of them in Misool Raja Ampat. Then the famous one in Palau, and some others. I think there will be more to be found. No offend, just facts.

@@travellingvloggerfan12Facts is facts, calling there's only few of them is tourism campaign lies. Same lies like there's only few places in the world to see whalesharks or siargao is next Bali or you only could find tarsiers on Bohol, while Sulawesi host 12 different species of the tarsius vs only 3 species in Philippines, right?no? Oh I forgot, it's a normal things to do there ya? Such a "type yourself". Karens mean nothing to me, only delusionals and liars are disgusting.

Yes I been to Bali lets say that Siargao is a Virgin Bali, because the real one is already congested with so many foreigners and business establishment. Hope the Siargao officials will control the commercialization of the the island.

This will only invite Indonesian haters who don't like the Philippines see progress and improve. I know touristic areas in Indonesia are mostly centered and limited only to Hindu majority islands and places. Not in areas where muslims are majority, why?

  • @simplyyank1119

That's exactly why we don't like our places mentioned for this pinoybaiting activities. Because that kind of false projecting by people like you, you know nothing yet dare to projecting through comment sections. Bintan is Muslim majority, Singaporean do short escapes there. Gili islands and Lombok is Muslim majority yet Rinjani of Lombok is one of most visited volcanoes in southeast asia and host of motoGP and mxGP. Mentawai and Nias is christian majority, pro surfers love them. There's no problems. It's people like you who will try paint a different picture of us for your tourism gain, low class. That's why Bali is great, it's Hindu in Muslim majority country, but we Indonesian respect every religion so they still thrive, we're not like you. Use other tourism campaign strategy and have some decency.

It's nothing like Bali. Bali is known for their not only unique culture, but also so festive and celebrated in their daily life even the great Charlie Chaplin intrigued by it. From temples, crafmanships, their own style of dances, rituals, sculptures, architecture, even their own gardening style. The only similarity is both have surfing waves, even so the quality and consistency is not in the same league. Bali's waves is way more consistent, bigger, and there's more surfspots (over 60+ spots) for any different level from sandy bottom beach breaks for beginners to The Bombie and Outside corner of Uluwatu that could hit 20+ft in their prime swells. Considering their cultural aspects, there's no place like Bali, but if you really need that kind of place as an alternative for surfing in Southeast Asia with exotic indigenous culture but less crowd, Mentawai islands is way more worthy the comparison with Bali, empty white sand beaches everywhere and with surfing spots like Lance's right, Greenbush, Rifles, Macaronis, Telescope, e-bay, No kandui, rag's left, Thunders, Bankvaults and many more that could make cloud9 blush. Then next places would be Nias&telos, just see how waves in lagundri bay looks and hell it's way bigger and perfect than any waves in Philippines. Honestly I don't get where that comparison comes from tho, lombok next to Bali has even more consistent waves, and also home to desert point, a very long barrel and has beautiful selong belanak beach and tanjung aan beach as surfspots for beginners and long boarding.

A wee bit offended? I'm sure they're just expressing their opinion. We're all entitled to that, right mate? Peace✌️and enjoy Bali🫰

  • @simplyyank1119

@@travellingvloggerfan12Not offended, just stating the facts. There's more geographical facts than made up opinions for tourism gain to make a place as a surf destination, how the island exposed to swells produced by 70 degree latitudes north or south as the swells maker zone, reef or beach position relative to swells direction, body of land that obstruct the swells and so on and on. Considering there's almost none between Indo Southern Coast to Antarctica except 2 very small islands, It's just geographical facts that Indo is by far much better surf destination. By doing that comparison thing, you sell false promises. The last thing that travelling surfers want is a very long journey across the globe just to waste their precious short holidays forced to surf waves that they could easily find back at home. So yeah, better picked Mentawai or Nias as a safe bet for alternative of Bali or better head to Puerto Escondido, El Salvador, Australia, Hawaii.😊

@@cutiebellacat4720Haha, nice try..by no means I said it's never got some plastic pollution issues, but it's regularly cleaned. But it's also evident that siargao also got that ocean current plastic problems, I see that in eight miles from home's video around last week when story play on the beach there so many plastic bottles around her. Go watch it, hehe. That's the problems about many of you Filipinos, you try build your tourism campaign through nasty comments and biased one sided opinion, project it through clickbaity vloggers in other country's image expenses. You should do some events and build your own identity and doing normal tourism promotion campaigns. Needs money, but hey, you need to do that fair and square. All I mention on previous comments are merely geographical facts. It's not Bali's and Mentawai's faults to have better and bigger surfing waves. Don't you think so?😊

@@cutiebellacat4720And one more most important thing, since colonial era Bali is about their fascinating culture, and their intricately decorated old temples. Surf is just a given natural things happening in coast of Bali, while it's great when you see image about Bali chance are you get Ulun Danu temple or Tanah Lot temple or Besakih temple or Uluwatu temple as the image not a mere boardwalk access to not so great reef break.😂
