Really looking forward to your review! Just had a case last month! My resident presented a patient with unilateral jaw pain and swelling. I knew conceptually I could ultrasound the salivary glands but had not actually done it. I applied the probe and took some pictures and compared with the asymptomatic side. Then went online and saw images which looked exactly like what I saw and confirmed the diagnosis. One thing I witnessed in my patient that I don't see here is a dilated salivary duct. Anyway thank you for sharing and enhancing the joy I feel at work.

You’re very welcome! Yeah, most cases I do have no ductal dilatation or sialoliths!

God… The pain… imagine a stove burn feeling deep in your neck each time you swallow or move your neck in an odd position. I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. 1 year of this and no help from doctors whatsoever. What a life huh? I’m alive still at least :/

I have a question about processors in the current ultrasound systems versus processors newly created by apple. Have you researched that before? If not, how do you think streamlining our technology from other markets could improve our ultrasound machines. Forexample if GE were able to get ahold of getting licensed the new M1 Max processor.
