@@LilySaintSin Dads in UK get 2 weeks full paid leave automatically but dads can have more leave if they want by taking some of the Mother's maternity leave. Only 1 of the parents gets the longer paid leave, usually the mother but the dad can take it instead of her if he's going to be the main carer of the baby. The mum legally must take 6 weeks off work to recover but after 6 weeks, she can go back to work and the dad can take the rest of her maternity leave instead.

He is very adorable and super cute. But I hope that's not his real name "Ying Yong". I'm Asian (half Chinese) and my husband is totally Chinese but he grew up in UK too. Kids can be so cruel. My husband was bullied when he was little/young, so I know how painful and traumatising it can be. And this lil guy looks very shy & timid. I just wish& hope he will not experience any traumatising things caused by other children, ever in his life.

We should be teaching children to defend themselves from bullies, not please them. It should be stopped and get them help, also to teach them not to bully. I know it’s easier said than done, but we shouldn’t be catering to them or teaching them that’s how to defend yourself as it’s not the right way. 💕

Toe walking it typically bilateral in ASD though, not one-sided. At his age, being anxious around strangers in an unusual place wouldn't be surprising. I'd not be massively concerned unless he was also showing the same signs around familiar people. I didn't see any use of peripheral vision, stimming, or anything other than age-approprite shyness in the face of a stranger while in pain.

Instead of worrying about whether he is gonna get made fun of for his name, teacher YOUR children to stay kind and respectful and treat him equally. Just speaking as a healthcare professional, xrays cost a the NHS money, not to mention the risk of exposure to radiation. At the end of the day, an xray like other imaging is not going to treat the boy, it will just provide exclusion.
