My family were so Cavalier when it came to speaking about my wee baby boy and girl that passed away. I stood up in the middle of our holiday dinner then shouted (Shut The F Up!!!!!) only a few moths had passed and they didnt care how badly my heart was broken. Tread very lightly when you are speaking about somebody's child/children whom have passed away. Unless we bring it, up shut it.

You're correct to a degree. Some people want to talk about it but can't and need someone else to start the conversation, some people can't hold it in forever and end up taking their own life due to not talking about it. But then quite alot of people don't want to talk about and want to be left alone. It's a tough conversation but I can understand how hard it would be to hear your family talking about your deceased loved ones without thinking about how hard it could be for you. That's why it should be done in private.

@@tommypennie5296 Oh I totally understand that I get suicidal thinking about my past. I don't like talking about it, a lot of people try to pressure me into talking about it and it never ends well. Those are things I keep to myself and share with my mental health team when I am ready to do so. No one should be forced to grieve faster than their mind and body will allow them to do so.

Yes, let’s stop the 85% of antibiotics that are used in animal agriculture, then ingested by humans who eat the animals and fish. If we did this we wouldn’t have antibiotic resistance. Another reason to go vegan.

😔 I was prescribed antibiotics like sweeties as a child and teen. Really messed up my gut flora and that caused a whole host of other health issues. Nowadays, I only take them as an absolute last resort and then follow up with a course of probiotics. Had I known then what I know now.. ....I would have refused them as much as they prescribed.

Or maybe it was a very stressful situation for them as it seems he may have autism. The mom did say it was a very rough night with him as he starts banging his head on the wall etc he can't communicate his pain verbally. Unfortunately a lot of people don't know what antibiotics is for ,they assume it's a miracle cure for everything and can be given at any time. Let's have a little compassion as we are not in their shoes.

85% of antibiotics are used in the animal agriculture industry. If we didn't have animals in obscene conditions in factory farms, antibiotic resistance wouldn't be such a factor in medicine. Just one more reason to go vegan.

@@akycha100 This is a completely different point. Case i) Mum fobbed off with virus (but Rx anti-biotics anyway); case 2) patient fobbed off that manufacturer is not making enough medicine (H.C.A., could have asked G.P., to Rx an alternative); Case 3) patient with complicated bereavement fobbed off to a Charity.

@@divaqueen7898 I don't think the mother of the first boy was fobbed off at all. As the doctor said over 80% of ear infections are viral so time and analgesia is likely what he needed. Capsaicin is a topical prescription arthritis medication and alternatives would need to be prescribed by a doctor. As far as I can tell, the lady she is seeing is a nurse. These clips have been edited for TV and she may well of offered her advice about an alternative but this may not of been shown. However really this needs to be done by a doctor or advanced practioner nurse who have her history, so they aren't prescribing an inappropriate medication. The grieving patient who had sadly lost her son definitely needs to be referred to a bereavement support specialist. Doctors are amazing but they also know they have access to a vast referral specialist team, be that a licenced professional counseler for that poor grieving mother or gastroenterologist for a persistent gastrointestinal issue. GP's do an amazing job, considering the time they have for each patient and the immense pressure they are put under.
