Jim years ago you signed a poster for me at a show that says “kenny you are like bacon” its being framed on my wall for years. Thank you! It brings me so much joy. My girlfriend says Im like bacon too, what have you done!

Why is when I hear Jim "rant" I feel so much better. He is just great therapy...he's like that visiting uncle with the insightful sense of humor...that nobody else in your family seem to have....He's just refreshing.....Thanks Jim!!!

To me Jim Gaffigan and Brian Regan are the funniest comedians one might consider 'clean', but Jim pushes the envelope in a couple of his bits. Brian Regan is cleaner but really sarcastic, lol. I respect anyone who can be successful without selling out to filth. It's so cheap and to me just indicates a lack of any real talent.

That body wash joke made me change my entire perception during shower time, I was literally in the shower slathering on body wash when he said that joke

I grew up in a big family and trying to pour the conditioner back in is too relatable. Laughing alone in my basement. LAIMB. The B is silent.

Oh Jim! You can always make me laugh, no matter what kind of day I've had. I've reached that age when a bath is what you take when you worked muscles you forgot you had and a shower is for when you don't have 40 minutes to waste on a bath! Dish soap, laundry detergent, body wash, shampoo, hand soap...most of them are made of the exact same ingredients in different ratios with different perfumes. Companies figured out how to sell us the same product a thousand times, just like Mexican restaurants with their menu.

They all have slightly different components in them that make a very significant difference though, particularly detergent (which I believe that dish soap is as well), IIRC it's major difference is containing quite a bit of strong caustic substances such as sodium hydroxide or bleaching agents such as Sodium hypochlorite. You're not going to find that in any proper solution meant for the body (although you _can_ use it to clean your body anyway, it's not recommended for prolonged periods, particularly if you have remotely sensitive skin) It's more that there's all sorts of gimmicks and stuff among them such that there's no singifcant difference between the same types (ex. organic vegan shampoo and conditioner with ginkgo biloba and sasafrass vs cheapo store brand 1 liter bottle of generic shampoo that contains sodium sulfur laurate (not a real thing, but something like that) and silicones)

@@MsHojat Sodium hydroxide is used as the saponifying agent for the ingredient oils and fats. After the saponification reaction is complete, there is no sodium hydroxide left, only soap molecules. Each product has different ratios of various fats and oils in it for different purposes, but they all need to be saponified in order to be considered soap or shampoo. Anything that does not go through that chemical reaction is not really soap.

A shower is so refreshing, it's a great way to start the day - all clean and fresh !! How fleeting that moment can be.... when you go to get out of the shower and discover your kid has taken your towel, used it to wipe off the dog's feet, and left it dirty and crumpled on the bathroom floor. Of course there are no other clean towels in the bathroom. Wha Wha Whaaaaaaa

I just bought some body wash today, and of course I was singing the "Body Wash" song while purchasing it... Hilarious, Jim!

Visited my brother stationed in Scotland. His wife, who was Scottish, had to scrabbled through their attic to find the shower head that connected to their bath. I just couldn’t do bath. Even though scotland has more water than land, I am from the US southwest, where water is scarce. I know she probably laughed behind my back.

I tend to buy brands with different coloured bottles, and put them on different shelves. And then my husband showers, and they're just put back anywhere...🙄 Same with the well organised spice cabinet, alphabetised, and grouped by intended use. OCD and bipolar... match made in... Everytime I take a shower I hear the echoes of The Pale Man as I soap up my lufa. 🛀🚿 👻👀BOOOODEEEEY WAAAASSSH👀And I love it! 😂😂❤❤

I use conditioner because my hair is so fine that if I don't it gets all tangled-up. Like many others, I can't read the labels on them so I place them the exact same way on my shelf: shampoo front conditioner back. If I have to change bottles I ask my husband what they are. My doctor told me to get rid of the bath, because whatever I did or put down (like a stucking carpet), I would always fall on my knees and end-up with really bad bruises. When we renovated, we exchanged it for a car wash: 8 jets, 2 shower heads, handles that keep the same temp from one shower to the other. My side is kept at 32°C and my husband's at 45°C. LOVE IT.

I keep thinking I should try a bath some day, but when I'm in the bathroom, I'm like, 'I ain't got time for that crap. I just got off work and there's only 4 hours to crew off before I have to be in bed.'

OMG too funny. I laughed outwardly throughout!

Same. It's easier that way. Otherwise you would have to have a shower. Get dressed or sit in a towel while you wait for the bath to fill up. It's easier to just have a bath, let the plug out, stand up and shower. My shower is over the bath. If you have a seperate shower you wouldn't have that issue.
