Thank you for making this video. I wish I watched this prior to starting my Teaching career. I am a fifth year Spanish Teacher. This year I teach at the Middle School level. For the past three years I taught at the High School level. My first year was at the middle school level. I've hopped between levels to grow and evolve as a young Teacher. I never had student teaching. I majored in Spanish so I am navigating as I go. Im realizing this year my personality is better for the high school level because middle schoolers need a Teacher with more energy to keep them intrigued and motivated to learn. I don't have that much energy anymore. I'm thinking of switching back to the high school level next year God willing.

I think this video is really helpful for dual credit teachers. I teach college English, so when I have to go to the high school, classroom management is an issue. I think this idea about play and the one where you discuss creating routine are helpful for us college instructors who were not taught classroom management at the graduate level. Thank you.
