Never thought about that. Bigger muscle = bigger tendon. Makes me think of nba stars who ruptured their achilles. Kobe had skinny calves Durant skinny calves Cousins skinny calves Wall skinny calves Bit of a pattern.

Yeah, frequent/efficient jumpers place a lot of stress on their Achilles tendon, could probably use low velocity calf work to mitigate injury risk.

Same here, but as good as calf raises have been isometrics have been even better!!
