No, transgender men are men who want to, for whatever reason, or believe themselves be in the wrong body and want to live life as women. Sure they may well be other ulterior motives with some people, but this could well be that they are not 'trans' in the first place and that is a debate in itself.

Echoing what many have said…. I can’t believe we’re giving time and energy to this debate. It’s nonsense. No debate. Straight answer. Biological male and female category’s. Job done.

Why is it that the default is for inclusion at all costs and then women are automatically on the back foot raising an counter-argument? Why does society think so little of women that their rights are not prioritised? Trans people can still compete if they want but just not at the expense of women’s spaces and achievements.

They should certainly be excluded because of physical advantage, but it's not even about that. They should stay in their real categories on principle... Sex based rights, sex categories in sport. Gender rubbish is pseudoscience at best.

Just check out the many competitions in the past year alone in swimming & cycling that have been won by a "trans" person. Girls and women are being trounced out of their own competitions with the full awareness of the governing bodies.

It's hugely traumatic for a MAN to be in women's sports. Traumatic for the women who are being taken advantage of. Why is nobody concerned for the REAL WOMEN and how this affects them?? Why are people concerned about how the MEN feel about it???

Even if you play sport on an amateur level, the goal is to win! I truly don't understand Rebecca her reasoning. So for the sake of transgenders, people who are practicioners of amateur sport don't deserve a fair game? That's basically what she is saying, because she admits it wouldn't be fair on a professional level.

"Transgender women" is a misnomer. Since the majority have male genitalia, lived a male adolescence and have male physiology why not identify as "transgender men"? The very questionable question "What is a woman" is a misdirection. Sexual species is not an "identity". It is a classification based on physical characteristics. The human species is divided into male and female. A reasonable question is, "What is transgender?" It is an identity. So let's have transgender sports competitions. They would differ from female sports and male sports for obvious reasons. The results would be fair. To attempt to force acceptance of an unscientific trans-species via bullying and violent behaviour is unacceptable. To a simple person like myself it is overt violence against women . . . misogynistic males under the guise of transgenderism appropriating the culture of women to threaten, attack and harm women with little to no interference from the law. That's frightening. If such people claim to identify as female why do they humiliate and harm women?

The sad thing is that this shouldn't even be a debate!

Why are we still even having this conversation? Why did we ever even have this to begin with.

The fact that this is even a question for debate is an indication of the extent to which society has fallen.

They should have their own category. It's not like we put wheelchair users in the sprint with the able-bodied, they got their own category, it made it fair.

Why is the argument if they took puberty blockers as a child. For a start there are so many complications with puberty blockers and hasn't the UK changed is stance on them so puberty blockers are no longer used. You have to wait now until you are 16 so you would have already gone through puberty. Plus they are still biological men.

What has this country come to. Obviously yes where there's a physical advantage

Swimming is a no contact sport, and a 6 ft + man with a long swim stroke shouldn’t be allowed to compete with the biological women.

The reason we have two categories in sport, men and woman categories is to make it fair. Likely, men made this decision years ago. Stick with it. Move on ‘trans’ and form your own category.

It’s not exclusion…. They’re biological males. They were never included to begin with. TIMs / TIFs need their own, separate categories. There was a trans hockey game that ended with a trans “man” getting a concussion after a trans “woman” push “him” onto the floor. The obsession trans activists and TIMs have with women sports and spaces is a big red flag.

They should have their own competitions.

I think that tall people should be excluded from the high jump because they have a clear advantage.
