Anand Ranganathan explained 9 reasons as to why Hindus are the oppressed group even within India despite being the majority population. Majority of those reasons were introduced under Congress rule. This is why many Hindus vote for BJP. And Anand was an atheist who criticized both BJP and Congress relatively fairly.

Check how much money is being collected from temples in India to pay salaries and even the Bjp hasn't touched this issue anywhere as they also enjoy the money extracted. Look at UK,US, Canada, Germany, France protest, riots.. basically some religious tensions have begun to emerge. They can't even handle the little religious diversity they have 😅. I am Muslim in India, I have many reservations with Bjp but BJP have many good things which the congresse did not had, congress should work on devlopment and security of nation instead of appeasement politics then they'll be in power because now the people of India have woken up they don't want to keep this nation' unsecured. That's just 2 riots. Also Manipur riots are not even Hindu vs Muslim so irrelevant to the conversation here. That's between two tribes which have long fought with one another. the vast bulk of riots throughout India have occurred under non-BJP governments. As a counterexample- look at UP. There has been less than 10 communal riot deaths (read NCRB crime data) in the past 5 years under Yogi's government. Compared that to before under non-BJP governments where riots occurred at much greater rates.
