@@Zett76 If you've paid any attention to how the Lakers FO has conducted itself since Jeannie outed her idiot brother then you know exactly why coaches haven't wanted to come here. Let me lay it out since you haven't and prefer to blame LeBron for everything since you don't like him. Frank Vogel was treated terribly by the FO. Tyrone Lue felt insulted by the FO insisting he gets less years and his assistants being handpicked for him(this was done because Luke Walton hired his buddies as assistants and this FO overcorrects)so didn't come here. It was immediately speculated upon Vogel's hiring Jason Kidd who was the lead assistant would immediately take over should anything go wrong with Vogel as the fall guy, Kidd ended up going to Dallas instead of sticking around. Vogel's last season the FO gave him a trash roster completely ill suited to his strengths as a coach and as early as December there was talk of him being fired several coaches commented on how terrible this was, like Rick Carlisle who is head of the coaches union, it was reported Quinn Snyder would not come here should there be a vacancy and once fired Carlisle in his capacity as head of the union spoke up how unfair this was. The Lakers FO knew they f*cked up so overcorrected again and gave this long leash and job security to a rookie HC who has turned out to be a terrible choice.

The problem with the LeBron being an in-court coach is the usual "too many cooks" issue. Yes LeBron can adjust in-game to fix issues in real time (tactics) but he is causing confusing to his team mates since they now have to re-adjust their thoughts which were just adjusted by their coach. This is pretty frequent in team vs team battles, even in warfare. Generals can win a battle via tactics, but cannot win a war without strategy.

I like LeB. less and less. Even you do not see LeB. famous defensive help without helping, after 21 years in the league you should be able to position yourself much better. How many DPOY´s has the genius LeB.? Exactly. At 10th in the west, maybe LeB. should listen to Ham. Or finally retire. And A.D. is the best player of the Lakers.

I’m not an expert at all but if you have intelligent and elite defenders like Lebron and AD wouldn’t you want to refrain from switching so much? That seems like overkill. I get the adjustment Lebron made. I also remember AD confirming he doesn’t like switching because of what he brings defensively. On that DLO podcast episode.

You switch to conserve energy because their best player is in his 21st year. Lebron wears out and becomes ineffective on offense if he is having to glue to every teams best player. He is too important on offense as well...just a messed up situation that AD is so inconsistent, never got a 3 point shot and the lakers guards are awful in perimeter defense. Even today, Lebron locked down zion and they only switched when the Lakers were up 20 to rest lebron...super sad he has to do so much for an 8 seed that will get bounced 1st round.

@@mattmmixes Mike Brown was a decent coach, and definitely improved after Cleveland. This issue was bad personnel around Lebron due to management, and bad relation due to obvious issues. Mike Brown and Lebron butted heads because of this. Since leaving the Cavs, his teams have always had better personnel. Was with Lakers with Kobe and Gasol, fired. Was with Warriors as an assistant with the dynasty(played well into game planning vs lebron in finals), and now he is with Sacramento with an amazing team with great players. Mike brown has never been without superstars.
