That happened to the previous 5 versions? They were not put into production.
Version 6.0 was suppose to be the final design, but there were some alignment issues. Version 7.1 is the latest design on DIPTRACE, but I haven't had the time or resources to have it produced into an actual PCB yet.
The circuit is not mine, but the board design is my own. The idea to put a USB mini for power was my idea too. I figured since the FAMICOM actually ran on 5V, might as well use a phone charger and power the console via USB. Worked without any problems.
Is this the best A/V mod? Probably not.
The board is not for sale....yet. But given the fact that most electronics enthusiast can probably make this, I don't see much incentive to sell these boards.
