I loved Priory. That being said if you don’t like a slow political story I would recommend unhauling it now, the action doesn’t really happen till the very end. I love a slow character driven story but I can totally see why it wouldn’t be for everyone because it is such a chunky one.

Mine would also be Priory of the Orange Tree. It’s in my fall 2024 reading plans, so hopefully it’ll get read before the end of the year

Im glad youre still going to try book 3 of Zodiac. The drama doesnt ever stop, but the writing and plot gets a lot better! Hope you love it!

For Priory I got 215 pages in then put it down. Still haven’t picked it up again. I’ve had it for ages. I might be unhauling it myself. I recently got Zodiac Academy 2 and I can’t wait to read it. I loved the first one.

Sounds like we felt pretty similar!

I adooored Priory, but I am also super scared to reread it because it really is one of those books that needs to hit at exactly the right time. Also, it is unfairly pretty 🤣😍

You should do a self destruct list like Becca. That gives you a year to decide/read the books. This was fun!

Finally finishing zodiac academy was a highlight of the last month. The last book is over 1100 pages, but I HAD to do it. It stopped being fun a long time ago, but I'm stubborn 😂

I read book one of zodiac academy but just didn’t like the bully romance, just didn’t care for it, I’ve heard it gets better after book three I think but…. I’d have to get through book two and three lol
