Heyy I have a question not related to Kate and Anthony It's about sir Philip. Do you think the man who is holding the booklet in the episode were Penelope republished her booklet is sir Philip...? I couldn't stand Anthony in his own season, but married Anthony has won me over lmao. Colin and Benedict are still my favourites, in that order, but, I am so ferociously fond of Anthony now.

Okay so here is the reason why I love kanthony the most. You could feel their chemistry despite it not always being about s*x. Their season evoked emotions without it feeling like, oh I have to close my eyes now. Like seriously, you could feel their story, it was given appropriate time and at the same time everything else was in the right proportions too

I just love how Hyacinth was so supportive and excited for pen to be her sister ❤❤

Yeah it has nothing to do with Penelope at all. He’s pissed because he wanted to shout from the roof tops of Mayfair that Kate is pregnant with his child. She has to remove his hand from her stomach twice in this moment because he’s obsessed with her and the baby. Did you not watch the carriage scene that happened before this? Anthony has exactly zero energy or interest in Penelope. Has not had one moment with her on screen in 3 seasons and can’t stop being obsessed with his wife. Book Anthony may have had conversations with book Penelope but show Anthony does not give a fck unless you are Kate or their baby. And the dueling scene with the brothers after this has nothing to do with Anthony wanting to duel Colin for Penelope’s honour. It’s all about Benedict being a massive troll towards Anthony about dueling Simon in S1 when the word ‘compromised’ was used. I’ll tell ya. I notice that polin fans have some weird sort of need to see show Anthony validating show Penelope on screen. 😂

In the books he was always very protective of Penelope. I think here it wasn’t just the pregnancy, it was also the fact that he probably thought Colin had “compromised” Penelope

As someone who has read the books but not seen the show, I absolutely LOVE how people are living for Penelope and Colin. Theirs was my favorite in the books. ❤

I just realized that Kate keeps pushing Anthony’s hand away from her bump😂

I love Kate and how she positively influences Anthony, but I feel like him in this case… It is so frustrating the way they deprived us of some of the most important moments that we have seen with all the other couples... even for Pen's sisters who will never be the protagonists... we deserved to see in their season the flashbacks of Kate's past that would have helped us to better understand her actions, (although in any case we understood her perfectly) the moment when Anthony helps Kate emotionally during the storm and even when she discovers why she was still afraid, their marriage and the birth of little Edmund. I could only forgive the writers of this series if they do a spin off on Kate and Anthony, maybe split between London (to see all the moments I mentioned) and their trip to India, so that then we will have a complete painting when they return to London in Season 4 .
