Ok so we're going to be getting a lot of comments considering the 570GT - which is no doubt going to be a fantastic car. However - it is a softer/slower version of the 570S...not something i'm looking for in this bracket of car. Something else coming for that ; )

+Mr JWW The 570S is definitely the best looking McLaren, they got the backend right on that one. The 650 and 675 are obviously faster, but they always look like the front doesn´t fit the backend to me. The 570GT even looks better, but understandably if you are looking for a gt car, there are other, maybe better, options if you don´t need it to be a McLaren. I heard Aston Martin builds some nice cars, too.

Yes. Visually the 570s is the best they've made, perhaps except the P1.

I have to say man, your videos are really one of the best put together! You don't just show us the cabin of the car you drive for the entire video. You really take the effort to show us different views of the car, inside and out. Even the drive thru ones! Thumbs up to you! :)

Mr JWW, loved the video and loved the car. What I like is that you use more than one camera unlike some of the other KZreadrs and your editing skills are on point. It seems like you actually think about your videos, rather than just turning up and videoing, and that shows.

How do you think it compared to the R8? I'm seriously considering swapping mine for one of these later this year and as you've driven both I'm interested to know what you think when directly comparing the two

I would absolutely go with the 570s. The back-end of the 570s looks incredible, while I've always felt the 650 and 675 have always had a weird looking back-end. I know that's not the biggest thing when actually buying a car, but I definitely think the 570s is plenty of power + looks better. Either way can't wait to see what you go with :)

I saw this car at a Supercar Sundays meet here in the Chicago suburbs last summer and I fell in love without really knowing too much about it. After studying up on it, I really do think this is the perfect car at that level. I saw a video saying when depreciation hits these things, they will be many peoples first 'supercar' (you're batshit crazy if you don't think this is a supercar, even though it's classed as a sports car). I'm really looking forward to this because it's definitely plausible for me. With that said, please get it Mr. JWW! Live my dreams for me until I get there!

The 570S to me looks like a baby P1 with the new rear end. And for that reason it makes it the coolest car in the segment! You should really get one!

It's as British as Black Pudding, and you are one of the most British people I can think of (it's a compliment man). It's fast, it looks mad, you like it and if you buy one, soon enough it will be hanging its loose nether regions around every corner you can squeeze one in :)

All models of Sports Series are more road focused than track. So I think if you would choose 570GT, it would not be too much softer than 570S.

I'd take the 570S over any R8 in a heartbeat. To me the GT3 is a different beast and totally unique (rear engine RWD with a ton of heritage). Mid engine supercars, the 570S is the best for the money. It's light at 3100 freedom units :), carbon tub, 560hp/440tq, traditional dampers/roll bars and Mclaren designed it to be a fun street car, not to push the fastest possible lap times on a circuit.

you should definitely get it!! i would love to know what you think of it and how is it owning it. Im planning on purchasing one myself so I would love your input on it, love your videos man!

They're not "Gullwing" doors - stop misusing the term! Maybe "butterfly" but not gullwing. Lambo doors are also *not* gullwing doors - they're "scissor". If you want gullwing doors, buy a DeLorean or a Mercedes SLS AMG.

The people saying buy the 570GT don't understand the components and suspension changes between the two. That is one thing that turns me off with the GT. My favorite part about the 650s is the power delivery is a lot more gut wrenching then it is in the 570s. Also the hydraulic suspension and aero are gods gift

+eins Well it's not as they're two entirely different types of cars and characters. Just because two cars, or a few cars are in a similar price bracket, or power bracket doesn't mean they're entirely comparable. On paper sure. But on paper and reality are completely different. GT3 is an amazing car, and so is the 570S. But they're still two completely different cars.

I absolutely love the 570S. At first I was a bit sceptical about the design of it but after seeing it in person, I fell in love. And the funny thing about that McLaren dealer is that I've been there before while I was in the UK a few years ago haha! Great video James!

If you're worried about having a bit more power, you could always get the 570S & tune it :) as you said, it's a shame Lambo don't have the scissor doors on the smaller models. Great video as always, & i look forward to seeing what you get :)

The 570s really suits you and your collection

Lovely model. Love the doors. Amazing McLaren engineering. All down to personal preference of course, but when it comes to a 675LT v F12 debate, the F12, and the TDF version, decides it for mine. But hey, if one can afford both, a nice burnt orange McLaren on the drive speaks wonders. Great video as always JWW. Thanks for the insight.

I would get the 570 as IMO it looks stunning, great design, more modern then the 650S, but then I also think the MP4-12C looks good these days.

That salesman is a nice guy. Even complemented the 911 GT3. Good to see him referencing cars from other brands. Hate it when salesman are honest about the cars.
