I like the GT more than the S.. Looks better and cleaner with the new hatch in my opinion.

Now that I think about it, McLaren has got a very well filled up range: -MP12-C -MP12-C Spyder -650S -675LT -675LT Spyder -P1 -P1 GTR -540C -570S -570GT. And it's only a 6 years old car manufacturer.

JeppeMP ISKOLD SHABAB I prefer the Coupe. It looks allot better imo and I personally see the cockpit of a car as a privet space and don't want people looking in.

The 570GT definitely looks better than the 570S.

I agree with you on that one. It's difficult but I still think I would choose a used 650S over a new Sports Series model. I am still unsure about the styling of the Sports Series, especially the 570S. I do think the 570GT sorts that out a bit more though.

They look the same to me. What part of the car looks different compared to the 570s?

I don't see why people would get the other one. This car has all the fun, comfort, and cargo space. You can take it for any task and be fine.

This might be the best review you've done, Shmee! Love it. I felt like I was in on the ride, and you've never done that before to that extent. Very good!

that MSO 675 LT SPIDER LOOKS STUNNING

Just saw a 570GT today, in this exact color and spec. The video doesn't do it justice... It's MAD when you see it in real life!

Tim this was a great video in terms of your knowledge about the car and how you articulated it. Also cameras were in good positions so we could see what was going on. And my usual annoyance of bad audio wasn't an issue here so very enjoy full video. Although it would have made the video even better had you had a mic on. But bravo.

Missed this review when it came out last year. super review...well done Tim. I really like the leather package in this 570 GT. It makes the car that much more special. (Mike in Ohio)

I personally think this is (if we do not count colour configuration of this car) the second best looking McLaren with the 570S in the first place. But if I had the choice between the two I'd go for the 570GT because of the extra luggage space and the softer ride. I prefer a sporty ride, but I'm pretty sure that even the 570GT is sporty enough to be interesting :)

Now that I'm a bit more in the video I realise that the colour configuration of this 570GT is most likely (in my opinion of course) the most ugly configuration.

The gt has a sport pack you can get that gives it the suspension and powertrain of a 570s so it's even sportier

I haven't seen any McLaren in the flesh apart from a P1, but the 570 certainly isn't up there with the 675LT at all.

I must say, I find this the most beautiful McLaren yet! What an exquisite looking car, both on the exterior as well as interior side of it. I'm not a hardcore racer kinda guy, I prefer smoothness and comfort in a ride better. But the fact that you can go at it the with 570GT when preferred is just excellent. Hope to see more of this car Tim :)

Tim does the car not come with a reversing camera as stock? If so that is crazy ahaha how else would you park it with that visability at the rear. Does it have reversing beeps though?

Do those switches that open the front and back lids disengage when you're driving? I hope so.

id have to say the 570gt looks varry like the bmw i8 but it is varry good looking and varry nice, but love the review Tim cant wait for more.

I've gotta test drive the 570GT. I don't think it's better than my MP4-12C but it seems to be a nice cross-country daily beater.

I wonder if 650GT(same car but with 650S spec engine) is on McLaren's future car plans. That spec would absolutely rock I think.

I hope when you become an old codger you'll be entertaining us on Top Gear UK with your history for these machines 20 years from now!

This is the perfect model of what a everyday supercar should be like

15 new models over the next 6 years? Holy crap, I thought they had already gone over the top with the MP4 coupe, 12c Spyder, 540S, 570S, 625S, 650S, 650S Spyder, 675LT, 675LT Spyder, P1, P1GTR. I guess we'll see a GT, S, Coupe, Spyder and perhaps GT-S for every 20bhp variant.

Those Car's are beautiful.

If you're still on Tenerife, drive to the westside of the Island to Masca. The road is amazing with hairpin after hairpin all the way. You wont regret it :-D

I liked this one as the car came in the exact interior color I would choose. But next time put the forward looking camera behind the passenger seat. First 10 min. of the drive ruined buy rear view mirror in the way of seeing down the road!

Rear design and interiors don't seem to convince me..for the rest it seems perfect to me,I would definetely consider getting it if I could
