I remember Ray coming into the gym and telling us that he was acting. Of course we never thought that he would become such a renowned actor. We all laughed and carried on training. Great days, with so many class fighters. As Ray said, those days at the Repton moulded you into the man you became. I'm fighting a serious illness (asbestosis), but all that gym work and discipline keeps me physically and mentally strong.

Really good. The reference to Graham Houton boxing sugar ray leanard is absolutely true too. Houton was a brilliant amateur himself but Lenard is of course a bit special.

Graham Moughton oh sorry Graham that’s right. How’s things with you? I remember meeting you when you were training Colin Lynes in the gym on Crow lane. I hope you’re well.

Great to see all the people of yester year. Great times and great team mates some great boxers and ultimately friends. Ray bottom right hand corner of your photo was me John O'Mahony. Looking as though I could scare no one. Yes it was the London Feds championship about 1977. Think Repton Roll of honour is not 100% as does not have us there anywhere and a few other errors.
