Hi, I have watched a few of your video's and I know you are familiar with the Listingpro wordpress theme, I was wondering which Short Pixel Plugin you would recommend for a growing Directory that utilizes the Listing pro (Short Pixel Image optimizer or Short Pixel Adaptive images). Does Short Pixel Adaptive images also Auto Optimize all incoming Pictures that are being loaded to the site by people placing Ads? I am also utilizing (Cloudflare with Rail Gun and Light speed Cache) in conjunction with my hosting provider (quality hosting provider), would you still recommend a Asset management Plugin such as Perfmatters? on top of all the speed enhancements? If you could please let me know your thoughts, I'd greatly appreciate it! Mahalo

You might be able to find some software for Mac to bulk compress the images. If you can upload to WordPress you can use ewww image optimizer free to losslessly compress then.

i came back for this video becausei have a question: Do you think its good idea to optimize thumnails (for a car dealership website that contains a lot of images?) Would that make a difference in page load? thats all i'm looking for, improved page speed. thank you

I always optimize thumbnails because even if they are resized meta data can still be stored in them which can add to the pageweight. If you're concerned with ShortPixel credits try using something like EWWW Image Optimizer or Robin Image Optimizer (for lossless compression) this would help a lot and not cost you a dime!

Great review mate. Do you know how their credit system work? I know for their other plugin (ShortPixel Adaptive Images) they drop your images from their servers and re-optimize them each month, consuming all the credits again. Do they do the same with ShortPixel Image Optimizer? Thank you for your time. Great review.

Do I need shortpixel if I use litespeed cache on litespeed server? It has image compression inbuilt

I'd want to optimize JPG as Lossy, and PNG as Glossy. My PNGs on Lossy look bad. Is there a way to do that?

You could set it to lossless compression this will pass testing tools like GTMetrix and Page Speed Insights but won't affect image quality.

Actually I don't want Lossless for PNG or JPG. I just want Lossy for JPG and Glossy for PNG. Is there no way to set the plugin to exclude all PNG or all JPG? Maybe that be done with the path exclusion and the proper regex?

brother volume is very low!
