Short-Track Ace Bubba Pollard Sets The Record Straight About His Driving Career | Dale Jr. Download
Спорт
Dale Earnhardt Jr. asks Bubba Pollard what life looks like for a career short-track racer such as himself. Bubba fills Dale in on the effort it takes to make racing happen, how he funds his rides, how he makes a living and the balance he tries to maintain between racing, working, and family.
Bubba also tells Dale Jr. that he’s never received a call to race in NASCAR’s top-three series before the opportunity to drive for JR Motorsports in the NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Richmond came about. Bubba and Dale also talk about the effect streaming has had on the short-track world and how it has helped grow a fanbase for local racers.

Bubba is the kind of guy we need full time in a premier nascar series. Hard worker who is a racer at heart.

It’s exactly what’s missing in NASCAR. We used to have guys like Bubba throughout the field and when we lost that, the popularity went with it.

Exactly right
So cool that JR has this good ol boy on his show.
So easy to root for Bubba Pollard. Hard worker, talent &humble.
Best experience of my racing career was parked beside bubba and his family at the 2019 Canadian short track nationals, wish I had talked to him more but got the chance to talk to his father a bit, nicest people Ive ever met in racing ! The reason I got a prolate was to race with best in north america ,didn't qualify that day but piting beside the best was good enough for me!
Gotta love Jr!!!! Only person to give Bubba a shot!!! Dale Yeah!!!
Pretty sad statement on the state of the sport. These kids out here with millionaire parents getting the shots while the guys winning races never getting a chance
What a hard dedicated worker. Much respect. Chasing the dream but willing to do what it takes.
More! More! Great interview with Bubba Pollard. Jr. really knows how to bring out the best.
Bubba Pollard is underrated
I love this guy, the sport needs drivers like him.
Blue collar racers need to be back in NASCAR and not these spoiled brats that's been handed everything in life. We'd have a lot better product if more people like bubba was in the sport.
This is awesome…. Great support for a great racer!
JR gets so excited about old stuff. His face lit up when Bubba said he had his first car.
Bubba, you are a great driver, I wouldn’t have known you if not for my cousin marrying you, In Henry County Alabama, you are the king of short track, so from Abbeville Alabama, we love you and Erin, Junior everyone loves you, Proud of you Bubba, keep kicking butts until you can’t, thanks for bringing racing fans from Abbeville back to caring,
Bubba Pollard is better than half the drivers on cup. Eod. Nothing. Will. Ever. Change the fact that you learn to drive on a short track. In so many ways.
Mr. Bollard is a very impressive man.

He's local to me. Seeing him has motivated me to get back into racing after my military career. Not sure if im gonna get back to dirt or asphalt at the moment, but im gonna find a running car and just jump in.
I know that Junior doesn’t like to talk about it, but it would’ve been cool to hear about Bubba‘s experience in the SRX, and if that open any doors for him. That’s how I first heard of them/him

Racing is weird nowadays, a proven winner like Pollard never gets a call but some rich kid with his with his daddy’s money can go out and tear up cars running 15th or worse.

I can get the appeal for Bubba Pollard for sure.
This sport was built on the backs of people like bubba💪
I agree that social media has helped a lot of guys like Bubba. I feel when I was racing with Wayne Anderson if the social media was around it would’ve been a different outcome for him to, but he did run some trucking cup stuff.
Great interview guys
He really skirts around whether he works or if it’s all his dad haha
worked with Lester Wilson in Yorktown Va, with Little Race Cars. legends of legends wolftrap motorsports Dale Lemons#11
As far as I'm concerned, short track racing is the top. They use it for a stepping stone, but I don't see it that way.

This is just a small snippet of the 1:45:00 show.
Please put Bubba in a stock car full time! He will not let you down!
Gonzalez ❤
Millions of fans have gave up on nascar, so now they're going to start heading back to the short track where they started originally. You can get a ticket and a beer for $20 and only a half hour from home.
I will pull for people like this over a Hailie Keegan any....damn....day.
